The Uttar Pradesh Government felicitated Tokyo Olympics medalists Neeraj Chopra, Ravi Dahiya, PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohain, Bajrang Punia, and other Olympians.
Various dignitaries, including Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were present on the occasion at an event held at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on 19th August 2021. It was a great opportunity for the students of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram campus 1 to witness this wonderful live program. Students witnessed the live ceremony on Thursday along with their sports teachers Mr. B.P Singh, Mr. Sandeep Mishra, Mr. Swapneet Katiyar and Ms. Renu Mehta. Honourable Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath awarded cash awards to all the Olympians as well as Indian men and women hockey teams. Indeed it was a great experience for all the students.
