FLIP TEACHING ON THE MOUTH/ORAL CAVITY OF THE HUMANS was taken up as an Synchronous Task


Vaishnavi Singh of class 6C performed the flip teaching on the topic of the Oral cavity in humans, in which she explained about the mouth cavity in detail along with the various kinds of teeth present inside the mouth and the different types of functions they perform. Anubhav Singh also prepared a 3D model of the Mouth cavity to display the types of teeth and the tongue present in the mouth. The topic was taken up very beautifully and was presented in the class very interactively. The students in the class were asked to relate the topic with SDG's.

Cross curricular linkage with English and Mathematics.

The session began with a discussion on the recapitulation of Google Slides. The teacher listed the advantages of using Google Slides over the other presentation softwares. Rishit C Mukherjee presented his screen and demonstrated how to make a presentation on Google Slides. He also explained the use of a variety of presentation themes, fonts, embedded video, animations, etc. His presentation was followed by Sankalp Tiwari. He demonstrated how to create, arrange, customize and apply animation to the slides and how to share, add comments, replies to files. Overall, it was an interactive session wherein the students got an opportunity to enhance their critical thinking and technological skills.

Class VIII of CMS Rajajipuram participated in the Mathematics quiz today. Top scorers were selected from each section as teams.

There were 3 rounds namely

The students of all six sections performed their best.

Class VIII A (Apoorv Mishra and Devansh Pandey) and VIII F (Swayam Srivastava and Sarthak Tiwari) were the winners of the Maths Quiz.

Nutritional Week Celebration (Class 3-5)


Students of the primary section (class 3, 4, 5) enthusiastically celebrated the “Indian nutritional week”. They prepared delicious salads using healthy ingredients. They also took an oath to have a healthy breakfast and encouraged the other family members to have the same. They promised to have their dinner before 8 pm.

This act brought a sensitization among the students to have a healthy diet including all the essential nutrients. They also had a discussion about the nutritional value of various products with their classmates. The students were encouraged to eat healthy food during.

Nutrition week. They were asked to bring empty packets of eateries. They were taught how to check the nutritional facts/value of the packaged food items. By this activity of knowing the food they ate, the learners became aware of the amount of fats present in the junk food. They were thoughtful about it and promised to buy healthy food items.

Science Creative Learning


Learning by doing encourages active engagement with available materials and forces you to work harder to remember the material. It's an effective technique because it helps ingrain knowledge into your memory.

Students of VI A& B COLLABORATED IN CHEMISTRY CLASS AND DID FUN ACTIVITY.

THEY MADE CLAY MODELS OF MOLECULES OF HYDROGEN, OXYGEN WHICH HELP THEM TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF ATOMICITY.

STUDENTS ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED IN THIS ACTIVITY AND ENJOYED THE CHEMISTRY CLASS.

Independence Day Celebration - Junior Section


We are blessed to have a right to speak and to be heard. A right several brave souls fought for. Let's take a moment to think of their sacrifice and what they had to pay for the freedom we enjoy.

Today Independence day was celebrated with full zeal and devotion by the students of Junior Section.

They gave their tribute to freedom fighters by talking about importance of the day, they displayed their Patriotism through Role plays, Enactments and Declamation, Slogan writing and painting. Children sang Patriotic songs too and they showed their love, reverence and patriotism by singing Vande Matram and Jana Gana Mana.

Overall the students were coloured in tri-coloured spirit and the joy of freedom was in the air.

Students of Rajajipuram Campus I wishing everyone a very Happy Independence Day. May the tricolour always fly high and higher and touch the sky.

Digital Literacy Club - Google Forms


Google Forms is free online software that allows you to create surveys and quizzes. It is a part of Google's web-based apps suite. It is a versatile tool that can be used for various applications, from gathering RSVPs for an event to creating a pop quiz. Ms. Purva facilitated the session by beginning with the introduction of Google Forms. The students were made aware of the applications of the software as well as the various features available. Rishit Mukherjee also presented his screen and demonstrated the Step by Step procedure for creating a quiz on Google Forms. The session provided a platform for the students to enhance their technological skills.

'Language is the dress of thought.' FITZROY - 'TH' words were explained to the students. The students enjoyed the session. They were asked to find out some words from their literature chapter where 'th' words were used. A Padlet link was shared with the students and they were asked to upload the words there.

In their first-ever Theater Club, students of classes 3-5 understood the concept of Drama and its 5 Key - Elements with the help of an interesting video. They were told how emotions and expressions play a vital role in a drama and how these can change the entire presentation. To understand this better they played a fun game - Guess the Expression and Deliver the Dialogue, where they were shown various expressions on different slides and they had to deliver the same dialogue in different expressions.

In the Maths Club of class 8, the topic of Direction was taken under Reasoning. Children were explained the concept of directions after which they were also asked to do some questions for practice.

The eleventh session began with Shourya Jaiswal recapitulating the use of different functions in MS Excel. The learners presented the asynchronous task that was given in the previous session. Rishit Mukherjee presented his work and also explained features like AutoSum, Highlight, and Sort. The teacher improvised his explanation and also discussed the alternate key shortcuts that could be used by the students. In addition to these features, she also discussed the enhanced conditional formatting that applies visual formatting to data, new functionality in tables, new charting tools, and more. The students were also made aware of the three general uses of spreadsheet software namely, to create budgets, produce graphs and charts, and for storing and sorting data. Overall, it was a fun-filled and interactive session.

Geography Club


In GEOGRAPHY CLUB, students of grade 7th and 8th discussed the most explored planet the Mars. They all participated in the debate and put forth their views on Robotic versus Human missions on the red planet. They also completed the ASYNCHRONOUS TASK of a para writing on the TOPIC if I were on Mars.

Digital Literacy Club - Classes 3, 4 & 5


The session began with the follow up of the asynchronous task assigned to the kids during the last session, which was to create a video message on Canva for birthdays. The students presented their videos.

Thereafter, the students were explained how to upload media on Canva, how to change the duration of a particular page, how to trim videos, how to present their videos in full screen and how to share their work and collaborate with others.

As an asynchronous task, the students were divided into two groups and they were asked to collaborate and prepare flyers for 'Happy holidays' and 'Digital Literacy club'. They are supposed to collaborate with other team members where each member will add their input to the design.

The club members were introduced to the online editing and designing software Canva in today's session.

The students were told how to access, log in and explore the various components of the software.

They were then shown how to create video messages and how to add text and upload images, videos, etc in their design. As an asynchronous task, the students have been asked to prepare a video message for wishing their friend a Happy Birthday. The students will be asked to present this video in tomorrow's session.

The session began by welcoming all the participants with full enthusiasm. They were asked about their well-being. A short discussion about the importance of the "pledge" was taken up. The students showed active participation. They were asked to prepare pledge cards/freebies/bookmarks as per their choice. They were supposed to write three points on it which they will follow the entire year. The students made wonderful cards and bookmarks and took an oath to save the planet. In the end list of 5 youtube channels based on awareness about the natural world was shown to them. They were asked to surf through them and give their feedback in the next session. Various youtube channels that were suggested to them were as follows - Make me a genius, Scishow kids, National Geographic channel, Planet bonehead, and a hot mess. The children loved the session.

HARSHIT CHAURASIA OF 6F DEMONSTRATED THE HOLOGRAM PROJECTOR IN THE ASSEMBLY UNDER THE CATEGORY OF "ONE NEW THING I TRIED..." AND TAUGHT THE OTHER STUDENTS THAT HOW THE SMART PHONE CAN BE USED IN THE SMARTEST WAY BY CONVERTING THE 2D IMAGES IN 3D ONES.



Literary Summer Camp


In an engaging session on 'Enactment of Characters from different stories' Juniors were shown different characters from various popular stories, they had to guess the name of the story and had to deliver a dialogue of that character. To hone their skills to comprehend a passage, classes 1, 2 and 3 competed among themselves in Comprehension Competition where they were shown a passage followed by questions related to it. Children had to type their answers in the comment box. Points were awarded to the first three correct answers and on the basis of these points, winners were decided.





E - Prize Distribution Ceremony (Pre-primary, Class 1 and Class 2)


With an aim to felicitate the talented minds and to celebrate the achievement of the children, our campus organized a virtual prize distribution ceremony for the Pre-primary section, Class 1 and Class 2. It was a joyous occasion for us as it gave us an opportunity to reflect on the share of achievements of our school. The momentous ceremony was graced by our Founder-Director respected Dr Bharti Gandhi ma'am.

The ceremonial affair began with showcasing the school multimedia that included the successful activities and the future plans of our school for the days to come followed by remembrance of the almighty through the school prayer. The ceremony was further addressed by respected principal ma'am with her words of wisdom. The versatile all rounder of the section was given a distinctive mention and the mother was invited as a special guest to address the gathering.

  • The ceremony proceeded with the honouring of the students belonging to Class 2. Good wishes and blessings were given to the students who brought laurels to our campus.

  • Further the children of Class 1 were given a special recognition for their sincere efforts and sheer hard work.

The show became extraordinary with the feedback of our children regarding the online classes. They mentioned how our school has turned adversities into opportunities and have come across as a leader in being able to successfully deliver the concept of online learning. Remarkable inputs came from the parents of the students and they mentioned how the classes during the harried times of lockdown proved to be beneficial for their children. The ceremony was followed by embracing the success of the Kindergarten and glorifying the victorious tiny tots. The programme even gave a special mention to the new parents who are now the part of our CMS family. The celebration commenced with acknowledging the zealously devoted students through the graduation song followed by words from respected headmistress ma'am and then the vote of thanks from respected principal ma'am.

Pravishti Sharma of class 5D secured 19th position in Delta Step Learning and was awarded by Delta Step Learning for being most persevering student for the month April, May and June 2019.


Water Audit



Class VI students of Rajajipuram Campus I conducted a water audit at their homes by: Preparing a table of the amount of water used [approximate] for different purpose at home; drinking, bathing, washing, cleaning floor, car washing, etc. per day After the audit completion students identified the ways to reduce water consumption at home.

Sarthak Srivastava, Bhumika Singh, Akshat Srivastava, Mohd. Aryaan Tariq and Fazal Ahmad of class 9th-A secured 3rd Position (Team Round) in the Inter Campus Elementary Maths Olympiad, organized by the CMS QUALITY ASSURANCE AND INNOVATION DEPARTMENT (QAID) on 21st January, 2020...at Rajendra Nagar UPIL campus.


Extempore Competition


Sharad Singh of 9th A won the Second Prize in an Extempore Competition organized by Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) on 17th January, 2020.



Astronomy Workshop


An astronomy workshop was organised in Rajajjipuram Campus I on 5th January. The children enjoyed viewing the moon through a telescope. Their knowledge of celestial bodies was enhanced.


Science Activity


Students of class VI A6 prepared molecular models of Oxygen, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Hydrogen from clay and toothpick.
