Investiture Ceremony (Junior Section)

A formal investing of the newly elected student council with authority, power, rights and dignity took place. Its rightly said that ‘leaders are not born, they are made’. Investiture ceremony is one of the most important ceremony and a traditional feature of City Montessori School, eagerly awaited by all the students of the school. Years after years, it reminds us of the trust and confidence that we repose in our newly elected cabinet. Donning the mantle of responsibility, they all pledge to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by rules and regulations of the school.

Respected Vice Principal ma’am Mrs. Rupam Saluja did the honours and pinned the badges so as to instill in the newly elected school prefects has a sense of duty and pride.


Acclimatization Session about Lucknow Metro


The introduction of metro in Lucknow as one accolades across the country due to its world class infrastructure facilities. The students of CMS Kanpur Road Branch were enlightened by the enthusiastic staff of Lucknow Metro. Mr. Prasad Kumar Dubey (Manager Operations), Mr. Ankur Srivastava (AssistantManager Operations), Mr. Alok Kumar Yadav (Senior Supervisor Operations) along with (Assistant Manager Public Relation) i.e. Mr. Kapil Yadav and Mr. Manoj Arora.

Nancy Arora further elucidated on Lucknow Metro as a safe, secure and hassle, free mode of communication and the initiative taken to make it environment friendly and a world class infrastructure which can transform Lucknow into a smart city. Students thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and applauded the innovative ideas like celebration of birthday in metro trains and the entertainment zone at the stations. The session was interactive and a quiz was also conducted for the students. The session concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winning students.


Mock Fire Drill

A mock fire and evacuation drill involving students, teachers and fourth class employee was conducted at CMS Kanpur Road on Friday 26th April 2019 to create awareness among the student community of fire fighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in times of such emergency situation. The whole junior section of the school was evacuated within 7 min. and 15 sec

Earth Day

On the occasion of World Earth Day (22nd April) students of CMS Kanpur Road Campus presented a special assembly with a medley of educational and fun activities.Students of class X - I under the leadership of Mrs.Tanuja Mishra enacted a skit on conservation of natural resources in order to save mother earth.


CLAT Counselling

A special meeting for class 10 was organised by city montessori school, kanpur road campus on 6th april 2019.in this meeting the students were told about various career options in the field of law. For this purpose, thakur abhishek singh was invited who told about the subject options after class 10th for the students who are interested in law. This was a very functional and utilitarian session for the students of class 10th as they were guided by abhishek sir. At last the students asked their doubts from abhishek sir. After all the questions were answered , the meeting ended up and the students went back to their classes.


Inter House Debate Competition (Junior Section)

Inter house debate competition of Junior Section was held on 27th April 2019 at WUCC for Classes VII and VIII. Topic for Class VII was - “Is There A Need to Have Junk Food in The School Cafeteria? And Topic for Class VIII was - “Does There Need to be A Change in the Age for Voting?”. Some participants argued for the motion and some against the motion. They even cross questioned each other. The judges, teachers and the students appreciated and encouraged the speakers a lot. At the end students were even given important tips on oratory skills by the experts.
