A creative writing competition was organised for the students of the ICSE and ISC sections by the Branch Editorial department on 13th September 2018 during the zero period. The topics were :
- Digital literacy
- Passion
- A short story beginning with the words :She was lost in her thoughts when the doorbell rang
As many as 151 students participated enthusiastically and displayed their creativity and imagination.The branch student literary coordinators and some student volunteers managed the event under the guidance of the Editorial team members Mr Kallol Kumar Mishra, Ms Chhaya Joshi and Ms Amanpreet Kaur. The topics were written on the whiteboards of different classrooms and the students were given instructions regarding word limits and the genres they could attempt. The compositions were collected and given to the English teachersof the various sections to be evaluated. Certificates of participation will be given to all the participants and the three best pieces will be awarded.
