Roza Iftar
Ramadan is a month of intense spiritual rejuvenation with a heightened focus on devotion, during which Muslims spend extra time reading the Quran and performing special prayers. Muslims commemorate the revelation of the Quran and fast from food and drink from dawn to dusk as a means of drawing closer to God and cultivating self-control, gratitude and compassion for those less fortunate. CMS Aliganj Campus II organized Roza Iftar on 12th April 2022 (10th Ramzan 1443 Hijriah) for teachers and Muslim parents of the branch. The campus was beautifully decorated with stars, moons etc., the mats and iftar was laid and all set with excitement and positivity for the face-to-face Roza Iftar after 2 years.
The day started with the warm welcoming of our Chief Guests Respected Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli, Respected Shah Mohd Umar Ahmad Jilani and our Respected Founder Manager Dr. Jagdesh Gandhi by our virtuous Principal Ms. Samvida Adhikari along with the staff and students in different attires holding placards and globes showcasing “Unity in Diversity” and “Global Citizenship”. Glimpses of the previous year’s Roza Iftar celebration and the importance of Ramadan were presented through a beautiful multimedia presentation. Students of the Junior section Nadiya Wali and Huzaifa Khan recited the “Dua for Peace” and “Surah-al-Fatiha” with translation. The children of the primary section Fatima Akhter and Mahnoor sang the heart-touching Naat “Maula Ya Sali Wa Salim…” which connected everyone to the Almighty.
The Chief Guest Respected Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli praised the programs presented by the students, told us about the importance of the holy month Ramzan and highlighted that only CMS provides such education where kids have knowledge about both subject and religion. He conducted special Dua for “Good health and well-being” of the people, peace and humanity in the world. He thanked the management, principals and entire CMS faculty for regularly organizing the Roza Iftar every year with the same enthusiasm and religious faith. He enlightened us with his words of wisdom that everyone should always remember the basic teachings of the Quran which were revealed in this holy month i.e. we should work for humanity and mankind, avoid violence and telling lies, love all hate none etc. Our Respected Founder Manager, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi addressed the gathering wherein the ultimate goal of fasting and gaining greater God-consciousness was shared along with the multimedia. He said that Allah showers His blessings not only on the Muslims or people keeping fast in Ramzan but also on those who organize Roza Iftar.
The program ended with the heartfelt gratitude and blessings of our loving Principal, Ms. Samvida Adhikari, who acknowledged everyone’s presence and appreciated their emotions on Ramadan. She prayed for the end of war in the world and for peace, harmony and happiness all around. She warmly wished everyone “Ramzan Mubarak” and requested everyone to have Iftar and enjoy the feast. Everyone enjoyed the delicious iftar and offered Magrib Prayer which filled the atmosphere with positivity and faith. The parents were happy with the congregation and recognized the efforts of the management.
