Marriage Solidarity and Family Unity Day celebration

“We are flowers of one garden and fruits of one tree.”

Keeping the ideology of Vasudhev Kutumbkum and social integrity in mind to influence and encourage the students to understand the value of their family and their roots, under the guidance of our Respected Founder Manager Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, the students of City Montessori School Aliganj Campus 2, observed the Family Unity Day on 14th February 2022.

The event was anchored by Mrs. Rishi Tripathi and Mrs. Suman Negi who are a part of our “Spoken English Club for Mothers” under the guidance of Ms. Sonu Seth and Ms. Suhani Shukla who handed over the platform to our Adorable Principal, Ms. Samvida Adhikari to welcome the gathering emphasizing on giving unity of a family priority over other considerations. She also gave tips to strengthen the bond of love in the family and suggested parents to build the circle of trust, respect for everybody, family vision and open sharing so that children get perfection in the world of humanity. The program began with a “School Prayer” by Pre-Primary students and mothers to seek the blessings of the Almighty followed by a soulful rendition of “Hymns” by Pre-Primary Mothers. “Yoga with Family” was performed by the Parents with their children under the guidance of our PTI, Mr. Anand Singh with different yogic postures showcasing the time spend with family in sync of mind, body and soul. “Musical Chairs and Relay Race” by our School Custodians added a fun element to the event. The family that reads together, grows together. “Bond that Links” was presented by the children and parents under the guidance of our Librarian, Ms. Shagufta Khan where they recited poetry, rhymes and storytelling which strengthen their bond of understanding and brought smiles on the face of everyone. Students gave a fabulous performance in which they sang songs with their Parents and Grandparents and also showcased their instrumental skills in “Vocal and instrumental Musical Redemption” under the guidance of our Music teachers, Ms. Sarita Mishra and Mr. Puneet Sharma. A heart-touching dance performance by the students on the “Dada- dadi, nana-nani…” song under the guidance of our Dance teacher Ms. Suhani Shukla made everyone fall in love with their families even more. The program concluded with a presentation of a few glimpses of “The Joy of Giving” Drive to give a strong message of social integrity and kindness towards society. Last but not least the staff and students expressed their gratitude through a gratitude song “Count on me” thanking everyone for being a part of the event with a promise that they can count on us for anything in any circumstances.

The event was graced by the presence of our Respected Founder Manager, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and alumni Jyotirmoy Benerjee. Ms. Rashika Dixit, Junior Incharge, Ms. Preeti Oberoi, Pre Primary Incharge and Ms. Sharmistha Sengupta, Primary coordinator gave “Vote of thanks” saying that they are blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family with such a strong captain who is always there in every situation holding all very strongly and beautifully. The event concluded with heartfelt gratitude by Respected Principal, Ms Samvida Adhikari who thanked everyone for making CMS Aliganj Campus II a strong family on which she is very proud of.

Joy of Giving Drive and Distribution of Blankets

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

City Montessori School Aliganj Campus 2 started “The Joy of Giving” Drive from 9th February 2022 for many homeless street dwellers and destitutes so that they can shield themselves from the cold weather. The students, parents and staff members took the responsibility to raise funds and collected eatables, woollen clothes, toys and blankets to support their needy friends. Students (Shaurya Shukla, Shashvi Seth, Vyom, Aradhya Saxena, Arshika Mishra, Aradhya Ahooja, Shreya, Ritika Singh, Ayush Singh, Aditya Kumar, Gauri Bisht, Kalki Bisht) played the role of little angels along with the Respected Principal Ms. Samvida Adhikari, M.L.L’s (Ms. Rashika Dixit, Ms. Preeti Oberio and Ms. Sharmishtha Sengupta), teachers (Ms. Shivani Tripathi, Ms. Nisha Pandey, Ms. Sarita Mishra, Ms. Suhani Shukla, Ms. Muskan, Ms. Divya Mishra, Ms. Deepti Mehrotra, Ms. Ritu Gupta, Ms. Shagufta Khan, Mr. Shivandra Pratap Singh and Mr. Shishupal Singh) and the Support Staff approached them and distributed some useful stuff to the people in different areas of Lucknow.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our Respected Founder Director, Dr. Bharti Gandhi for initiating this drive of kindness which is just the beginning and it will continue until everyone becomes capable of fulfilling their fundamental needs. It is a successful initiative as it brings a smile to everyone's face. It furthermore gives a sense of responsibility to our students towards the community and encourages them to be a part of such community services.
