Note: Grades will be given in Sanskrit, Moral Teaching, E.V.S., S.U.P.W., Art, P.T. & Music for classes III to VIII. These examinations may be held during regular classes before start of Examination as per the convenience of the branches.
Since 2017 CMS has started western classical music courses in three of its campuses namely, Gomti Nagar Campus II, Rajajipuram Campus I, and Aliganj Campus I. These classes are being held with the guidance of two professional, experienced musicians from Georgia, Mr Shamim Movahhed and Ms Jinous Movahhed. Running classes include Western classical singing, Western classical violin, Music theory and Piano. The trained students of these campuses are able to apply for any international music grade exam like Trinity, ABRSM, RSL awards, etc. For past two years almost 150 students and music teachers appeared for Associated Board of Royal School of Music, London.
It is a matter of joy and excitement that many of them have passed the exams with distinction and merit Mark and if we consider that they have started from scratch two years ago and we have now number of students and music teachers who have passed grade 4 or 5 (8 is the last grade which is equal to the ability of who enters to the prestigious western classical music conservatory we can see the potential, amazing talent among the students and of course their hard working character.
Class VIII students won the third prize in drama competition on cleanliness, health and hygiene held at Regional Science Centre at Vigyan Mahotsav 2019.
Tejas Sharad and Vaishnavi of Class IX received medals, certificates and books from Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta Gyan Prashnotri organized by Medha Jagruti Sansthan. Vaibhav Prabhakar, Vaibhav Asthana, Vani Vilas, Shreya Agarwal, Santiago Ojha, Avni Singh, Divyanshi and Sushma Bhardwaj of Junior section won prizes in a debate competition organized by bahes.org in Mount Litera Zee School.
Abhijeet Verma of Class VIII got a distinction in Round 1 of BYJU's.
Shaurya Kumar Tiwari of Class I won a Taekwondo Championship held at New Delhi.
Devyanshi Pandey of Class IX and Anushtha Tripathi of Class XI won the first runner up trophy in Smart Girls Fide Rated Chess Championship 2019 organized by Navyug Radiance School.
Sushma Bhardwaj won the first prize and Agrimyash Vishwakarma won the second prize in drawing and painting competition organized by ICAR - National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow on Agriculture Education Day.
Students of classes IX and XI won 9 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals in debate competition BEHES 2019 organized by Mount Litera Zee School, Lucknow. Shreya of Class IX won the Best Speaker Trophy. Championship Trophy was won by the team 'Directors' and Runner Up Trophy was won by the team 'The Diplomatically Immune.'
