Meet the Gems of our Institution, Our Vice-Principals

Ms Lipika Kale, Vice - Principal, CMS Aliganj Campus I

Vice-Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus I, Ms Lipika Kale, joined CMS in the year 1988 as a pre-primary teacher. Her love and dedication towards children soon promoted her to the primary section, and thereafter, to the senior section. In the year 1993, she was promoted as the Vice-Principal of the campus under the guidance of the then Principal, Ms Gauri Khanna.

Ms Kale holds Master’s degree in Social Work. She led a students' team to Hong Kong in the year 2005 to represent India at the International Mathematics Olympiad and another one to Indonesia to attend International Mathematics and Science Olympiad in the year 2014. For several years, Ms Lipika Kale has been the leading member of the core committee of Celesta International organised every alternate year by the campus.

Mrs Nishi Mishra, Vice - Principal, CMS Rajajipuram Campus I

Vice-Principal and Senior Section In-charge, CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, Mrs Nishi Mishra has an impressive academic background. She has done B.Sc., B.Ed., M.A., DCA and Master Course by Intel. Mrs Nishi Mishra joined CMS in 1986 as an Assistant Teacher (Chemistry) in CMS Mahanagar Campus where she was taking ISC and ICSE classes till 1990. She was also the Co-ordinator of Class XI.

Her excellent teaching skills fetched her the CMS Best Teacher Award in 1997. She led a delegation of Modern United Nations (MUN) to Colombo in 2000. The CMS management acknowledged her administrative and managerial acumen in conducting international events like IYMC and Macfair International events and she was promoted as the Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II in 2013. In 2017, she was further promoted as the Vice-Principal of ISC campus, CMS Rajajipuram Campus I. She was awarded the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award for excellence in Science teaching by Amar Ujala on 20th January 2019. This award was presented by Mr Satyadev Pachauri, Cabinet Minister in the Government of U.P.

Mrs Shagufta Shoeb, Vice - Principal, CMS Asharfabad Campus

Holding degrees in B.Sc., B.Ed. and Diploma in Computers, Mrs Shagufta Shoeb joined CMS Asharfabad Campus in 2006 as a Kindergarten teacher. Nurturing the tiny scholars, her effective teaching skills and administrative acumen led to her promotion to the post of Pre-Primary In-charge in the very next year. In 2010, she became the Junior In-charge for Asharfabad Campus along with simultaneously teaching English to Class VI. Her dynamic and vigorous services towards the institution further promoted her to become the Vice-Principal in 2012 till the present. Mrs Shagufta continues to give her efficacious dedication and assistance for fostering beneficial academic and extracurricular achievements at CMS Asharfabad Campus.

Mrs Reeta Fleming, Vice - Principal, CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I

With degrees in BA and a B.Ed. and a passion for teaching, Vice-Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Reeta Fleming joined CMS as a Primary Teacher in 1995. Since then, with her dedication and commitment she moved up progressively and was thereafter appointed the Vice-Principal in CMS Rajajipuram Campus.

Over the years with her excellent communication skills and humane approach she has been able to establish a good life long rapport not only with the students across all ages and classes, but also with their parents. As Career Counsellor of the campus she has been successfully guiding students in pursuing their goals in life and making their Alma Mater proud, not only by their achievements in India but abroad too. She successfully led student teams as a deputy leader for participation in International Mathematics Olympiads at Singapore and The Philippines and attended a month-long CISV Camp in Germany.

Ms Weqar Bano Shamama, Vice - Principal, CMS Chowk Campus

Masters in Economics and B.Ed, Ms Weqar Bano Shamama joined CMS Chowk Campus on 21st July 1986 as a pre-primary teacher. In the very next year in 1987, her outstanding capabilities and dedication got her promoted as the Vice Principal and In-charge. She started teaching ISC Economics from the session 1988-89 and produced the highest aggregate of 82% in Economics in 2004 with her student Sumita Jain scoring 100% in this subject. In 2004, Ms Shamama, along with CMS Founder Manager, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and two students, was invited by international peace organization ‘Peace Direct’ to deliver a series of Lectures and Meetings under ‘THE UK-LUCKNOW DIALOGUES’ in various cities of UK. Ms Shamama is the recipient of ‘Teacher of Teachers Award’ of ‘Awadhnama’ Group of publications presented to her on 5th September 2012.

Mrs Indu Mohan, Vice - Principal, CMS RDSO Campus

Vice-Principal of CMS RDSO Campus, Mrs Indu Mohan is a well qualified senior teacher of Economics and holds a Gold Medal from Osmania University. She joined CMS in the year 1997 as a primary teacher and rose through the ranks. First, as a History/Civics teacher for ISC in 1998 then, as an Economics teacher for ISC in 2000. Her hard work and sincerity helped her students to excel and give excellent board results. She was promoted to her current designation in the year 2014. She has been instrumental in improving the results of her campus during the past few years and strives to do the same in future too.

Dr Yasmeen Khan, Vice - Principal, CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I

Vice Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Dr Yasmeen Khan, besides having a Masters degree in History and B.Ed., has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the University of Asia, Nepal in 2018, for her continued service in the field of education for past 35 years. She joined CMS Jopling Road Campus in 1984 as an Assistant Teacher in the Primary Section teaching all subjects.

In recognition of her outstanding capabilities, the CMS Management promoted her as the Vice-Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus where, she also teaches History/Civics to Class X and is producing excellent results year after year. She was selected by the school management for Training in School Based Assessment of History at IGCSE Course Work, Robinson College, Cambridge, U.K. in 1997. Ms Khan is Co-convener of the International Young Mathematicians' Convention, IYMC organized every alternate year wherein children of 15-20 countries participate. Ms Khan's commitment has helped her in fostering a strong bond with teachers and students. She leaves no stone unturned to make the motto of the school of making every child good and smart, a reality.

Mrs Padma Dheer, Vice - Principal, CMS Station Road Campus

Mrs Padma Dheer, MA, B.Ed., is a capable and an excellent administrator and has to her credit 25 illustrious years of service to the institution. She joined CMS Station Road Campus in 1993 and soon became the Junior In-charge. By dint of her merit, sincerity and dedication, she was promoted as the Vice-Principal in 1998. She is the recipient of the Gold Medal for M.A. (MIH) by Late Rajiv Gandhi, the then PM of India. She was awarded a Proficiency Certificate by the Lucknow University for her one year course in Russian. She has been teaching History & Civics in the senior section and producing excellent board results year after year.

Mrs Dheer is a Career Counsellor, under whose guidance many students of the campus have received offers for admission to study in various universities abroad. Being passionate about music herself, she also motivates her students to excel in the same. She was awarded the 'Teacher of Teachers Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq Award 2012' for her outstanding contribution in the field of teaching by Awadhnama Group of Publications. In the Inter Campus Slogan Writing Competition for teachers organized by Geetanjali Jewellers, she was awarded the first prize.

Mrs Anupam Singh, Vice - Principal, CMS Indira Nagar Campus

Subject expert for ICSE History, Mrs Anupam Singh has degrees of M.A. and B.Ed. She joined CMS Jopling Road Campus in 1983.Thereafter, she shifted to Indira Nagar Campus in 1989. Her administrative skills and sense of responsibility were soon recognized and she was appointed the junior in-charge in 1990. Later, her dedication towards education and well being of students led to her promotion as the Vice Principal in the year 2000.

In the year 2011, she was recognized as one of the best teachers of Uttar Pradesh by Rotary Club of Lucknow. She was declared the best CMS History Teacher in 2018, as the ICSE students of Indira Nagar Campus scored the highest aggregate in History in the CMS Inter campus merit list. Mrs Anupam Singh is a person with discipline inculcated in her actions, dedication in her mind and administration in her outlook.

Mrs Rupam Saluja, Vice - Principal, CMS Kanpur Road Campus

Mrs Rupam Saluja has an impressive and impeccable academic record - Rank holder graduate from Punjab University, post graduation from the esteemed Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Medalist) and training from IGNOU. Mrs Saluja joined CMS RDSO as ICSE Biology teacher in 1994 and was promoted as Incharge of ICSE and ISC in the very next year. Later, she joined CMS Kanpur Road in 1996 in the same capacity. Her dedication towards education and well being of students led to her promotion as Vice Principal in the year 2013.

She has won several scholarships and awards including NET for JRF scholarship and lectureship by CSIR (Council for Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi) & UGC (University Grants Commission, New Delhi); GATE (Life Sciences) from IIT; ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) scholarship to pursue research in metal toxicity. Mrs Rupam Saluja was handpicked by the CISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examination) for sociocultural study of Japan in Tokyo (JENESYS – Japan East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youth) to lead the delegation in the year 2007, a Government of India initiative. Recently, she attended an Astronaut Training Experience Program at NASA along with 10 students and one teacher.

Mrs Neeti Tandon, Vice - Principal, CMS Mahanagar Campus

Vice-Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, Mrs Neeti Tandon has twenty-five years of experience in teaching students from primary to ISC level. She holds a Masters degree in Botany and specialization in Environment and Sustainable Development. She joined CMS Gomti Nagar in 2005 as an Environment Education teacher in ISC section when this subject was introduced by the Council. The outstanding results of her students in board examinations made her declared as the Best CMS Teacher in 2011. Citing her leadership acumen, the management promoted her as the Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II in 2013, when it was a primary branch. Thereafter in July 2014, she got appointed as the Vice-Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, the post, she has been holding since then. Mrs Neeti Tandon has been involved in organising many International events such as Macfair, Reflections, Odyssey, and events at local level like, inter-school Christmas Carol Singing Competition, Yoga Meet etc.

of 5 countries

CISV Youth Campers on historical tour of Lucknow

CMS hosted an eight-day International CISV Youth Meeting named 'Let’s Work it Out’ based on the theme 'Conflicts and Resolution' from 24 June to 1 July, 2019. Student delegations from Brazil, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Spain and India participated in this international meeting. The objective of these international meetings is to give importance to the thoughts of young children of the world over concurrent issues and promote peace education.
