83 students from various campuses were short listed in 2019 for the scholarship from the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India to pursue higher studies in science. Each of these students became entitled for a total of ₹ 4 lakh as merit scholarship (₹ 80,000/- per year for 5 years) from Government of India. It is a scholarship scheme that comes under Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE), a flagship programme of DST.
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducts ICSE and ISC Board Examinations every year at All India level for Classes X and XII respectively. The ICSE Exam is based upon syllabi of Classes IX and X while the ISC exam is based on syllabi of Class XI and XII and the Merit List is prepared at All India level by the Council.
Rules of Promotion from Class IX to X (No Re-Exam is allowed)-The Council has set up new rules for promotion of students from Class IX to X and Class XI to XII on the basis of Internal Examinations in classes IX and XI respectively. According to the New Rules for promotion of students from Class IX to X (ICSE) based on Internal Examination in Class IX – It will be the responsibility of the Head of the school to ensure that promotion from Class IX to X will be done on the basis of the cumulative achievement level of the students throughout the academic year in the subjects he/she has been registered for. For promotion, a candidate is required to have obtained at least 33% marks in a minimum of five subjects which must include English on the cumulative average and a minimum attendance of 75% of the working days. No other criteria will be used for promotion from Class IX to Class X.
Promotion from Class IX to X on trial basis, on re-examination or awarding of grace marks will not be accepted by the Council. Transfer Certificate should not be issued with 'Promoted to Class X' if the student has not met the required promotion criteria.

CMS Career Counsellor, Mrs Anshoo Mishra has been invited to attend Open day of Monash University in Melbourne scheduled from 1 August to 6 August 2019. The university will cover all the expenses relating to her travel-return airfares, airport transfers, meals and accommodation for the duration of the event. Mrs Shruti Singh, the Study Abroad Counsellor at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I was invited on a similar tour to US universities in April 2019.
Three former students of CMS have qualified the Uttar Pradesh PCS (Judicial) examination in 2018. Of these, two students, Ayushi Chaturvedi and Umaima Shahnawaz are from CMS Station Road Campus I on ranks 77 and 100 respectively, while the third student, Vrishali Gupta, who has secured Rank 391 is an alumna of CMS Indira Nagar and Mahanagar Campuses. It may be mentioned that five CMS alumni had got selected in PCS (J) last year.
Mrs Abha Anant, Principal of CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus I has been conferred 'International Award for Young People (IAYP)' for her remarkable contribution in promotion of quality education. Cambridge Assessment International Education and IAYP jointly organized a grand function in New Delhi recently and awarded a certificate to Mrs Anant. Several dignified people from the fields of education, literature and others were present there on this occasion. CMS Founder and renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Mrs Anant for her achievement saying that hard work and dedication of CMS Principals and teachers towards their duties bring laurels to the institution in every passing year. CMS teachers have set various milestones in the 60 years of its journey and not only Lucknowites but the entire state and country have proud on them.
