Aarna Om Singh, CISCE National Yoga Competition held at Dayanand Public School in Jharkhand

Aarna Om Singh excelled at the CISCE National Yoga Competition held at Dayanand Public School in Jharkhand on October 3rd and 4th, 2024. She secured 1st position in the Under-14 Girls Individual Rhythmic category and was awarded the trophy for Best Yoga Girl in that category. Additionally, Aarna has been selected for the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), making her the only representative from the UP and UK region to receive this honor.

Labrynthe International Astronomy Olympiad (LIAO)

Ahilan Biswas, a brilliant student from Class IX H at the Gomti Nagar 1 campus, has achieved international recognition by securing the 1st rank in the Labrynthe International Astronomy Olympiad (LIAO), organized by Labrynthe Pvt. Ltd. on August 25, 2024. He received a telescope for his extraordinary performance. Additionally, Abhinav Jain earned the First Runner-Up title, securing the second rank internationally in Group 3 at the same competition.

National Football Tournament 2024

The National Football Tournament 2024, held from September 17th to 21st in Kottayam, Kerala, showcased remarkable performances by young footballers from GN1 representing the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand region. Eshan Khan excelled in the Under-14 category, securing a gold medal for his outstanding performance. In the Under-17 category, Anshuman Gupta demonstrated his talent, bringing home a silver medal. Meanwhile, a skilled team of players, including Ojasya Yadav, Mandar Chandanani, Ayan Ahmad, Manas Yadav, and Anant Singh, earned a bronze medal in the highly competitive Under-19 category, contributing to their states' impressive medal tally.

Arvita Singh, First Position in Labrynthe International Astronomy Olympiad (LIAO) 2024

In the prestigious Labrynthe International Astronomy Olympiad (LIAO) 2024, Arvita Singh of Class 3G made history by securing the First Position internationally in Group 2. Competing against numerous students from around the world, Arvita showcased her brilliance and was awarded a telescope as her prize.

Aditri Srivastava, a talented Class X student from CMS Gomtinagar 1, has made her school and city proud by winning the First Prize in the Albert Barrow Memorial All India Inter School Creative Writing Competition. The prestigious ceremony took place at Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School in Trivandrum, Kerala, where Aditri showcased her exceptional writing skills. In the esteemed presence of Mr. Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Secretary of CISCE, she was awarded a Gold Medal, a cheque for Rs. 5000, a shield, and a memento.

We are proud to announce the achievement of Ms Soma Chandra, Headmistress of CMS Gomtinagar I, in the CENTA ITPO 2024 finals. She achieved an impressive score of 110.2/150, securing 9th place in the Primary English, Math & EVS track, and an overall international rank of 124. We congratulate her on this accomplishment.

Aashi Kiran of Class 6E and Tashi Kiran of Class 8A participated in the prestigious All India Tennis Association (AITA) tournament at New Era Public School, New Delhi. The duo displayed exceptional skill and determination, winning first prize in the Under-14 Doubles category.

Mansi Sharma of Class 6C won a gold medal at the CISCE National Taekwondo Championship 2024-25, held from September 8 to 10 in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. She has also been selected for the SGFI.

Ms. Soma Chandra

Ms. Soma Chandra, Headmistress of City Montessori School, Gomtinagar 1, is an accomplished leader and achiever. She excelled in CENTA TPO 2023, ranked high in both the National Teachers and UP Educators Olympiads, received the Incredible Teachers' Award from Oswal Books, and became a Google Certified Trainer. Recognized as a CENTA Influencer and one of India’s 10 Learning Champions, she will be honored at the CENTA Global Meet on September 14th. We are proud to have her on our team.

Ms. Junu Bisht, the Class VI Coordinator at City Montessori School, Gomtinagar 1, has been honored as a CENTA Influencer and shortlisted among India’s top 10 Learning Champions. She will be recognized for these achievements at the CENTA Global Meet on September 14th.

CMS teachers shine in National CENTA TQ Competition

Achievements

Six teachers of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I shone with their teaching skills and professional acumen at the national level CENTA Teaching Quotient (CENTA TQ) Test bringing accolades to the city. This competition was organized under the aegis of the Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA) having the participation of teachers from thousands of schools across the country.

Participating teachers were judged on three main parameters- Subject Expertise, Classroom Communication and Elements of Verbal Communication. In this national level teaching test, CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I teacher Ms Versha Sinha excelled with her outstanding performance in Middle School Science whereas Ms Shivangi Mittal and Ms Anamika Srivastava came out with flying colours for Primary Maths. Similarly, Ms Priyansha Chandra and Ms Dipti Goyal excelled in Middle School Mathematics and Ms Rimmi Kohli excelled in Early Childhood track. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon has congratulated all these teachers for their outstanding achievement.

CENTA Teaching Test is the substantiation for teaching excellence in which teachers from schools across India compete. This test aims to encourage teachers to develop their skills and talents.

National Authors' Fair National Award

Prathith secures International Rank 1 in International Science Olympiad

Prathith Upadhyay, student of Class V at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I secured the first rank internationally at the International Science Olympiad organized under the aegis of Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi. Students from various countries participated in this competition and showcased their capabilities on the international stage. Prathith scored a perfect 60 out of 60 in Science at this international competition, bringing laurels to his school and country. For this achievement, he is being honoured with an international gold medal, citation and cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- by the organizers.

Student Talent Reward Test


Rishabh Agrawal, a Class VIII student of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I secured All India 5th Rank in 'Student Talent Reward Test (Resostart)'. For this achievement, he was honoured with a cash prize of Rs. 5000/-, 6 days Educational tour worth Rs 40000/-, Smartphone and 90% Scholarship. The Resostart competition was conducted in two levels, wherein Rishabh performed brilliantly in Mathematics, Science, General Awareness and Mental Ability, achieving the 5th rank nationally. The competition was organized under the aegis of educational institution Resonance Education, Kota, Rajasthan in which thousands of students from across the country participated.

Spandana’s article finds place in The Times of India


A prolific writer and brilliant Class XII student of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Spandana Bhardwaj wrote an article based on her experiences during visit to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve last summer which found place in the Sunday Special page of Times of India, 'Saving our Stripes', celebrating 50 years of Project Tiger in India. Also an avid nature photographer, Spandana takes her hobby very seriously and motivates other students to do so as well.

5th time in a row Rishabh Agarwal of class 8A, has become the Wonderkid. This time he has won National Rank 1 & State Rank 1 in Brain-o-brain Wonderkid 2022. He has been awarded with a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- and a Trophy for his outstanding performance.

It is a matter of pride for us that our teacher Ms Poonam Sabharwal had been declared the best teacher amongst all branches of CMS. She has been declared as the best English teacher and is getting prize money of Rs 77169.

We are elated to mention here that Pratibha Tiwari has been declared as the best Political Science teacher amongst all the campuses.
