March 2019

39. Time has come. That time has come. That time has now arrived Dear President Trump for you to unite the world.

40. Abdu'l-Baha, said: “True civilization will unfurl its banner in the midmost heart of the world whenever a certain number of its distinguished and high-minded sovereigns—the shining exemplars of devotion and determination—shall, for the good and happiness of all mankind, arise, with firm resolve and clear vision, to establish the Cause of Universal Peace. They must make the Cause of Peace the object of general consultation, and seek by every means in their power to establish a Union of the nations of the world. They must conclude a binding treaty and establish a covenant, the provisions of which shall be sound, inviolable and definite. They must proclaim it to all the world and obtain for it the sanction of all the human race. This supreme and noble undertaking—the real source of the peace and well-being of all the world—should be regarded as sacred by all that dwell on earth. All the forces of humanity must be mobilized to ensure the stability and permanence of this Most Great Covenant. In this all-embracing Pact the limits and frontiers of each and every nation should be clearly fixed, the principles underlying the relations of governments towards one another definitely laid down, and all international agreements and obligations ascertained.”

41. Shoghi Effendi, the Guardian of Baha'i Faith said: “A world federal system, ruling the whole earth and exercising unchallengeable authority over its unimaginably vast resources, blending and embodying the ideals of both the East and the West, liberated from the curse of war and its miseries, and bent on the exploitation of all the available sources of energy on the surface of the planet, a system in which Force is made the servant of Justice, whose life is sustained by its universal recognition of one God and by its allegiance to one common Revelation-such is the goals towards which humanity, impelled by the unifying forces of life, is moving.”

42. "The time must come, when the imperative necessity for the holding of a vast, an all-embracing assemblage of men will be universally realized. The rulers and leaders of the world must needs attend it, and participating in its deliberations, must consider such ways and means as will lay the foundations of the world's Great Peace among men...."

43. "The unification of the whole of mankind is the hallmark of the stage which human society is now approaching. Unity of family, of tribe, of city-state, and nation have been successfully attempted and fully established. World unity is the goal towards which a harassed humanity is striving.

44. A world, growing to maturity, must recognize the oneness and wholeness of human relationships, and establish once and for all the machinery that can best incarnate this fundamental principle of its like. For the first time in history it is possible for everyone to view the entire planet, with all its myriad diversified peoples, in one perspective."

45. What Biblical verses and Jesus Christ have said is very relevant in today's time. There are many verses that support unity and love amongst men, we are quoting only a few below:

Corinthians 1:10

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

John 17:23

I in them and you in me- so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Psalm 133:1

How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!

Ephesians 4:3

Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

46. You will reap the fruit of unity - and you will be blessed by the entire humanity if you can call a meeting of the leaders of the world. On behalf of 2.5 billion children of the world & the generations yet unborn, as well as the entire humanity we are looking towards you for your action to call a meeting of World Leaders in 2019 to form a Global Democracy (World Parliament).

47. The coming eighteen months will be the most crucial for the world as you are the only world leader who can change the future. We hope you will choose greatness and call a meeting of the world leaders.

God Bless You!

Message from
Mr Roshan Gandhi, Director of Strategy, CMS

Exam season has the effect of making students’ thoughts turn to the world beyond the classroom: partly because they look forward to a time when they do not have to exist under the constant pressure of appearing for exams, but mostly because sitting exams leads to reflection on the purpose of those exams. That purpose is, of course, academic preparation for life beyond school – including, crucially, the world of careers and work.

Thinking about careers and work is harder today than it has ever been in history, considering the unprecedentedly rapid pace of technological change and globalisation – including developments in fields such as artificial intelligence and other innovations causing drastic disruptions to the job market. A student currently sitting their Class VIII annual examinations would be graduating from a three-year degree in 2026. We can expect that there will be many jobs available then which do not exist now, and many currently existing jobs that will be obsolete.

We are keen for students to have the maximum possible support as they undergo the difficult and crucial process of selecting streams, degrees, fields, and jobs. We have already ensured that every senior student has access to a Career Counsellor, and our dedicated team of passionate counsellors undergo regular and rigorous training to ensure that their knowledge and skills are constantly improving to provide the best possible guidance to students.

In order to supplement this in-house counselling, CMS is pleased to be tying up with Mindler for senior students from next month: an advanced career guidance service and platform with a number of tangible benefits for students. Each student will take a thorough and scientific psychometric test, which will result in a detailed and objective analysis of – amongst other things – their interests, strengths, and motivations. This provides the child and family with a more accurate basis for decision-making about future plans. Mindler will provide a series of expert guidance sessions for all students throughout the year to further improve clarity for students and parents, as well as complete access to their comprehensive online guidance portal. We are excited about this partnership, as we strive to leave no stone unturned to ensure that students receive the proper guidance they require to make some of the most important decisions they will ever make in life.

Workshops on Child Protection and on the statute-Protection of Children from Sexual Offense (POCSO) Act-were organized at CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I and Chowk Campus, in which the CMS van and rickshaw contractors, van drivers, bus driver, bus cleaner, rickshaw pullers and private van operators actively participated. The Headmistress, Class Coordinators and the campus psychological CounseIIors also benefited from the workshop. The Workshop was conducted by Ms Rooma Bal from the CMS Head Office who explained important things about child protection and the need for cooperation and coordination in this regard. She also discussed about various safety measures for child protection. An enlightening bilingual power point presentation on the topic was shown to the participants.

Mr Talal Mujaddidi, CMS Transport Officer, also enlightened the gathering on various aspects of Child and Transport safety. It was a refreshing and educative workshop. Director of Strategy, Mr Roshan Gandhi said that such Workshops are immensely useful in the context of growing crime and said that schools and colleges should come forward to take due precautions in this regard.
