CISV Open Day blooms with love and friendship

The Open Day of the 26th Children’s International Summer Village Camp was held on 18 January at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Young delegates of 14 countries, presented a grand show of music and dance and won the hearts of the audience with their delightful presentations which highlighted their country’s culture, language and manners. Dressed in the traditional costumes of their country, the children with their adult leaders presented colourful folk dances that sizzled and set the stage afire as the music gathered momentum and the audience could be seen tap tapping to the beat of music. Earlier, the Chief Guest, Minister for Labour, Employment and Coordination, UP, Mr Swami Prasad Maurya lit the lamp to inaugurate the CISV Open Day. Countries represented included Brazil, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Mongolia, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Thailand and India.

Transport Safety Workshops held

CMS New Head office organized a series of “School Children Transport Safety Workshops” for the Transport Incharges, Drivers & cleaners of CMS Jopling Road, Anandnagar, Rajendranagar III on 29th Dec. 2018, Head office on 31st Dec. 2018 & Mahanagar Campus on 2nd January 2019.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Rooma Bal, HRD Department (under the guidance of HoD Mr Nitin Saxena) on the areas of Children Safety, POSCO ACT 2012 salient features, Code of Conduct & importance of documentation. Mr Talal Mujaddidi, Head Transport Department, also addressed the participants and brought special attention to drive safely on road, maintain vehicles properly, follow traffic rules and keep the driving speed under control while on duty. In the 2-hour workshop, participants were shown PPT Presentation on the above topics followed by interesting videos on transport safety.

The sessions were concluded with a pledge on Children Transport safety taken by all participants. A total of 134 workers attended the workshop.

Finalised Scheme for the Annual Examination 2018-2019
III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX(ICSE) & XI(ISC)

(i) Grades will be given in Sanskrit, Moral Teaching, E.V.S., S.U.P.W., Art, P.T. & Music for classes III to VIII. These examinations may be held during regular classes before start of Examination as per the convenience of the branches.

(ii) Examinations for Art Paper 1, 2 and 3 for classes IX & XI will be held as per the convenience of the branch.
