Aradhya Singh of Class X bagged the first prize in a singing competition organised by Vivekanand Kendra, Lucknow.



Ananya Agarwal of class VI won the runners up trophy in UCMAS State level competition.

Sankalp Saxena of Class III participated in the Inter-school competition of WIZ National Spell Bee 2017-18 organized by Wiz National Spell Bee at St Francis’ College, Lucknow

and secured the first rank. He was awarded with a certificate, medal and a cash prize of ₹ 1000/-.

Kshitij Singh of Class IV secured the first place in the Inter-school Competition of WIZ National Spell Bee 2017-18 organized by Wiz National Spell Bee.

Winner of Yoga contests

Students of the campus won the gold medal in sub junior category (girls) and silver medal in sub junior category (boys) at the 3rd Inter-School Yoga Meet 2018 organised by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I. The girls' team comprised Vanya Rastogi, Arya Bajpai, Tehmeen Abbas, Akshara Saxena and Anushka, while the boys' team had Sai Kumar, Haroon, Kumail Abbas, Mehndi and Rudraksh Bhatnagar. The girls' team also bagged the Championship trophy.


World Earth Day was observed where through skits, presentations, slogan writing and Collage Making activities the relevance of the celebration of the day was highlighted. Tree Plantation was also done.


The Fire Service Week was observed where a mock evacuation drill was conducted to teach the students proper procedures for evacuating the building in the case of a fire.


A team comprising Yameena, Humaira, Bushra, Amaan, Khushi, Mahpara, Mahi, Angeleena, Aviraj, Ammar, Anoushka, Urooj, Anamta, Tamanna Abeer, Kashish, Ali Abbas, Mahak and Pratishtha were awarded a gold medal by the Generation Global for their participation in video conferencing with students of various countries of the world.

Jopling Road Campus

Sarah Rihab, Class VIII student of the campus was declared the winner in the video category of the YRE programme, India contest based on SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). The essence of the YRE Programme - India, is to encourage students aged 11-21 to investigate a specific environmental issue in their community, propose solutions and articulate their findings through the media of writing, photography or videos. Sarah is the only one participant in the country declared as the winner in the video category. The video highlights the contribution of the campus towards SDG11 and SDG15 through an action project whereby packets made from old newspapers were given to the Lucknow Zoo to make this zone free from plastic pollution.

Yashi Tripathi of Class IX has written a book, 'In that Hour of Despondency' which has been published and is available for sale online. She has dedicated this book to her physics teacher Mr Harkirat Singh.

Aditya Rai of Class X won the Best Speaker prize in the ASISC Zonal level Debate competition 2018 (Junior) organized by St. Joseph College, Sitapur Road. Aditya with Soumya Singh of same class won the Best Team prize in this category. In the senior category at this competition, Ananya Kalra of Class XII won the first runner up and with Gurbani Bedi, she won the Best Team Prize.

Sakshi Sachan of Class X won the Best Speaker prize, Adhwant Mishra of same class won the first runner up prize and together these two students won the Best Team award at the Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter School Debate competition organized by St. Joseph Inter College, Thakurganj.

It was a day of nostalgia on 3 July, when two former students, Rishabh Dubey and Smriti Dubey visited the campus to meet the students and teachers. Rishabh Dubey is now a published author with two books under his sleeves. He is currently pursuing MBA from Narsee Monjee College in Mumbai. He was accompanied by his sister, ex-CMS student Smriti Dubey who is a successful entrepreneur and a fashion consultant. Rishabh motivated the students to dream big and to set targets to fuel their efforts to reach their goals.

Spell Bee contest winners

Many prizes were won at the Wiz National Spell Bee competition 2017-18 organized by St Francis College. Ibtisam Khan of Class VII secured the third rank, Riya Singh of Class VIII secured fifth rank, Samarth Raghuvanshi and Nandini Verma of Class VII respectively secured the sixth and ninth rank and Madhur Man of Class VIII secured the ninth rank.


Amishi Puri was awarded a certificate for her beautiful enactment at Bhartendu Natak Academy.


Varuni Hazra secured Zonal Rank 2 and International Rank 115 in the SOF International English Olympiad Year 2017-18. She was presented with a silver medal and a cash prize of ₹ 2500/-.
