Lucknow, 22 April: CMS Founder-Director and eminent educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi, was felicitated on 22 April 2022 for her unparalleled contribution in the field of girl education and women empowerment at a conference of chairpersons of State Commission for Women organized under the aegis of National Commission for Women at the MIT World Peace University, Pune. Additional DGFT of the Department of Commerce, Government of Maharashtra, Mrs. Meeta Rajeev Lochan, IAS felicitated Dr. Bharti Gandhi by presenting her with a citation and a stole. Earlier, Dr. Gandhi addressed the audience as a keynote speaker in the 'Leadership Development Program for Chairpersons of State Commission for Women' organized under the aegis of National Commission for Women. Dr Gandhi said that women’s security and empowerment is the basis for social development.
