The body of knowledge and practice known as Mathematics is derived from the contributions of thinkers through the ages and across the globe. Mathematics is as old as man. Thus mathematics has become the companion of man and his helper since the beginning of human existence on Earth. When man first wanted to answer questions such as “How Many?” he invented 'Math'. Since then mathematics has provided us a way to understand patterns, to quantify relationships, and to predict the future. Math helps us understand the world – and we use the world to understand Math.
Mathematics is a powerful tool for global understanding and communication that organizes our lives and prevents chaos. It encourages logical reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, abstract or spatial thinking, problem solving ability and even effective communication skills. It is one of the most important sciences that cannot be dispensed with and the individual's need for mathematics is no less than the need of society. Thus to explore further the realm of Mathematics, I cordially invite your team to the 9th IYMC Mathematica 2022, which is being organized on a Virtual Platform, Zoom from the 10th-15th of October, 2022 due to travel restrictions in view of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Thanks to technology and the virtual platforms for providing us an opportunity to connect with our friends all across the globe.
The (Online) 9thIYMC Mathematica 2022 has been conceived to provide a platform to allow bright, creative people from all over the world to interact. We hope to nurture their skills and talents in this challenging field and give them a competitive edge in this era of globalization. We hope to build bridges of understanding, extend a hand of friendship, to forge unbreakable bonds of brotherhood, to remind us all that we share not only the sun, the sky, and this beautiful earth but also our hopes and dreams.
Let Mathematics bring us closer. Let Mathematics be the catalyst to kindle life-long friendships.
