We believe in fostering a beautiful mindset for a more beautiful world, one that celebrates the diversity of humanity and embraces positivity. It's a pleasure to extend heartfelt greetings to schools, leaders and participants who share our belief in achieving world peace through respect for diversity. I am delighted to announce our first International Children's Olympiad that embraces Literary Exploration, Musical Expression, Scientific Engagement, Mathematical Elegance, AI Experience and Environmental Essence, harmonizing them with Holistic Wellbeing.
The school, popularly known as CMS was awarded the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education in 2002. It is the first school in the world to be so honoured, in recognition of its efforts to promote the universal values of education for peace and tolerance, at a time when these values are increasingly being challenged in the face of adversity. It is the social responsibility of a modern school to make every child a gift of God to mankind, a pride of the human race and a potential light of the world by imparting all three kinds of education- Material, Human and Divine. It is therefore, the purpose of CMS education, to release the capacities latent in the child, develop analytical abilities, confidence in oneself, willpower and goal-setting competencies and instil the vision that will enable a child to become a self-motivated agent of social change.
The International Children's Olympiad is an exceptional opportunity that invites students from around the globe to showcase their talents, share innovative ideas and contribute to the pursuit of holistic development. We firmly believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals. The olympiad is not just a test of academic knowledge but an opportunity for our children to showcase their creativity, critical thinking and collaborative skills. Our commitment to holistic education ensures that students receive an enriching experience that goes beyond the textbook.
It is important to remember that promoting holistic wellbeing is an integral part of fostering world peace, but it is just one aspect of a broader positive approach. As we embark on this international journey, we encourage our participants to embrace challenges, celebrate diversity and cultivate love for learning. The Olympiad is a stepping stone towards a brighter future and we have no doubt that the skills and values imbibed during this event will contribute to the overall growth of our children.
