Lucknow, 29 January : City Montessori School has been awarded the maximum number of eleven prizes at 'Beating the Retreat' ceremony of the Republic Day Parade 2024, organized here this evening at the Reserve Police Lines, Lucknow. CMS President and Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and Principals of various CMS Campuses along with their prize winning student teams received the prizes for their contingents and presentations. At this function, CMS Kanpur Road Campus proudly received the first prize for the Brass Band Presentation; CMS Kanpur Road Campus too received the first prize for the Best Bag Piper's Band Presentation; CMS Rajajipuram Campus I received the first prize for the Best Cultural Item while CMS Aliganj Campus II received the first prize for the Best Drill. Similarly, CMS Aliganj Campus I awarded the second prize for the March Past Boys; CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I awarded the second prize for the Bag Piper's Band; CMS RDSO Campus received the second prize for the Flag March of Boys and Girls; CMS Kanpur Road Campus awarded the second prize for the Dance Presentation; CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus awarded the third prize for the Girls' March Past and CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I awarded the third prize of Flag March by boys and girls. Apart from it, CMS also awarded for its Republic Day Tableau based on the theme 'Vishwa Ekta Lana Hai, Vasudha Kutumb Banana Hai'.
