our Gratitude

At City Montessori School, we aim at imparting holistic education. Inspired by the philosophy of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam, Respected Founders Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and Dr. (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi, instilled global thinking in the young minds of children to train them as World Citizens. With an intent to make students of CMS and all over the world, imbibe the philosophy of Oneness of Mankind, God and Religion, the school began organizing International Events which brought the young people of different countries together on a global platform. This led to rich exchange of ideas and knowledge and also inculcated the spirit of unity amidst diversity.

The mega event MathΣphi, 2020 has been organized with a motive to enlighten, prepare and empower the students so that they can contribute productively in the field of Mathematics and Physics. It will also enable to integrate people and indoctrinate values and morals of the society embedded within.

We are extremely grateful to our Respected Founders Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, and Dr. (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi, for their unflinching support in organizing an event as magnificent as MathΣphi, 2020.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the revered President & Managing Director, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon & our young and dynamic Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Roshan Gandhi for motivating us to endow a surge of sagacity and wisdom among the budding Mathematicians and Physicists to procure finesse and craftsmanship.

Our Superior Principal & Head, Quality Assurance & Innovations Department (QAID), Mrs Susmita Basu, has stood by and imparted us the confidence to add several feathers to our cap.

Letter of Invitation

Physics and Mathematics are not only subjects, they are parallels which accompany us on every path of our lives to enrich it.

It is an absolute necessity that the sole motive of our lives should be development which is undeniably linked with technology. However, technology amplifies not only when there is advancement in science but also when there is impeccable calculation. Hence, in order to enrich our lives science, technology and development scamper with Mathematics to allow improvisation in every possible ambit which enables the execution of scientific norms. It ensures the adherence to the rules of Science and exhibits a whole new world in an 'apple pie order'. Mathematical calculations occur at every step in Physics making the world appear truly genuine and meaningful...
