Eureka emphasises various issues of the global community, to enable young participants to become responsible world citizens. Eureka’s competitions are meant to test the mental caliber of the participants and also to motivate them to be exemplary human beings who contribute to the advancement of civilisation. Positive change demands ongoing effort and Eureka is part of that effort. It provides a fantastic platform for students to get engaged intellectually and emotionally with the affairs of the age in a fun way.
I extend my heartiest congratulations to Ms. Reena Soti, Principal of CMS Anand Nagar and her dedicated staff for organizing this most interesting event.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter"-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
I believe the only way we can create global peace is through educating not only our minds, but also our hearts and our souls. Eureka is a platform to learn together how to solve universal problems. It is an event dedicated to promoting global citizenship and universal responsibility by means of focusing on languages, culture, and current global issues, through its series of competitions. It promotes an environment in which our choices and actions may have repercussions for people and communities locally, nationally or internationally, for the benefit of all mankind.
The purpose of Eureka is to cherish and respect the wide variety of people, personalities and thoughts. It not only tests the mental capacity of the participants but inspires them to be commendable human souls. Educating and motivating the youth is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world, as Nelson Mandela said.
Over the 60 years CMS has successfully impacted the lives of thousands of students that pass out from the school every year. The only school recipient ever of the UNESCO prize for peace education (in 2002), CMS is also the only school to regularly organize over 30 international events, with a view to create a culture of peaceful coexistence and placing importance on the person to person interaction.
I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Ms. Reena Soti, Principal of CMS Anand Nagar, and her dedicated staff for organizing this event.

Children are the foundation for effective development, and if engaged meaningfully they will improve many of the structural challenges that we face today. The opportunities our fast changing globalised world offers them are enormous but so are the challenges. Hence there is an urgent need to equip them with education that empowers young people with knowledge, skills and values they will need to embrace the opportunities and challenges.
Ever since its inception City Montessori School has been striving indefatigably to nurture young minds with the belief that, “The heart of education is the education of the heart”. Every child that walks into its hallowed portals is encouraged to be creative, proactive, to think critically, take decisions independently and to communicate ideas effectively.
No social problem is as universal as the oppression of the children. Children are not to be moulded but are individuals to be unfolded. It is the duty of the adults to give them apt environment to flourish their personalities. Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.
Eureka International - 2018, a culture and literary extravaganza organized by City Montessori School, Anand Nagar campus strives to unfurl the splendorous talents of the children of the future generation. Beyond fun and festivities the event also serves as a catalyst for raising awareness about a social issue. This year once again to bring this idea into praxis – has chosen to give its platform to voices raising awareness for child rights. The amalgam of activities are planned to unleash a wide spectrum of creative skills so as to prepare and groom children to face challenges of tomorrow and also to encourage them to be socially relevant.
I take this opportunity to congratulate Ms Reena Soti, Principal, Anand Nagar campus and her team of dedicated and zealous staff for their efforts to organise Eureka International – 2018. I am sure that their effort to mould and sculpt young minds will undoubtedly enrich their souls and ignite the spark of lifelong learning in them.

The prime purpose of education is to bring to the forefront one’s persona, which is the virtuous essence of their innate creation and what would define it better than through a kaleidoscope of events, displaying the beautiful being God has created us to be.
Eureka is not just a network of competitions where the participants ruthlessly pit against each other to win accolades rather it is a rendezvous point for thoughts and ideas of the world to amalgamate and generate a blueprint for a better tomorrow.
City Montessori School has always emphasized on the ushering in of unity and peace through meaningful education and we being a part of the institution carry forth this vision from the virtual realm of to the state of being de facto.
Competitions have been sculpted with the utmost care and thinking, not only to speak to the understanding of the participants but also to establish a connection with the interest of the participant.
The Merriam-Webster defines ‘Elucidation’ as to make something fully clear and illuminate, synonymized with words like Explain, Expound and Interpret, Eureka’s this year’s theme ‘Elucidation’ intends to take up the young thoughts of today and blend them with the universal tenets of goodness and formulate an elixir of life for the wellbeing of the most exquisite creation of all, Humankind.
I wish the very best to all participating teams and hope that they carry this little spark of cognizance in their hearts to burgeon into a beacon of hope, peace, love and joy for one and all.
