Ayushi Singh and Shreya Srivastava of Mahangar campus I won first and second prize respectively in open quiz on sparrows on 19th March 2014 at the Regional Science City.
Bhagat Preet Singh also brought laurels to the institution by winning 3rd prize in art competition on the topic 'Sparrows around us'.
The event was jointly organised by Zoology Dept of Lucknow University, U.P. State Bio Diversity Dept. and Regional Science City as a part of world sparrow day celebrations on 20th March 2014. The event was orgainsed in order to create awareness about the fast disappearing sparrows.
