We are most excited to invite our children whose boundless creativity and soaring imagination only matches their bubbling energy levels.

As you dress up as your favourite story book character or super hero, we look forward to your expressions of transformation revealing your inner powers, the mingling of which will release confidence and collaboration in the most fantastic way.

We extend our appreciation to Mrs. Jayashree Krishnan, Senior Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I and her entire team for conceiving this unique and most interesting event. Wishing you all the very best.

Imagination is the door to possibilities. It is where creativity, ingenuity, and thinking outside the box begin for children. In view of the above statement, we, at City Montessori School, firmly believe that encouraging imagination in children helps them pursue and accomplish many great things, and to further this belief, many extracurricular activities are organized at CMS which help in holistic development of children.

One such event is Cosplay International 2023. Cosplay, a portmanteau of "costume play", is an activity and performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character from a work of fiction (such as a comic book, video game, or television show). During imaginative play, children manipulate materials, express themselves verbally and non-verbally, plan (intentionally or unintentionally), act, interact, react, and try different roles.

Great opportunities for learning are possible when children participate in creative play. It is a great way for children to express themselves and build confidence apart from developing creativity, problem-solving and other important life skills. It educates pupils while also cultivating their creative and social abilities. Participating in Cosplay will help children form a deep relationship with each other, which will lead to increased academic performance and even professional cooperation in future.

As has been rightly said by Mr J.M. Barrie “The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it.” This event definitely gives wings to children’s imagination and allows them to fly in their fantasy world.

I feel elated to congratulate Ms Jayashree Krishnan, Senior Principal, CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I and her efficient team who have worked diligently and untiringly towards making this event a huge success which will empower the children to dream, hope, and explore their creative side to the fullest.

It is COSPLAY time again!

An insightful combination of the words "costume" and "play," cosplay is the act of dressing up as a character or concept from (usually) fictional works. Cosplayers don the outfits of their favourite characters as they showcase their creativity, talent, and personality while creating a unique subculture of performance artists mastering the art of imitation.

Fantasm 2023 is being organised at City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I, to stimulate and motivate students through animation and culture.

This mega event is a creative melting pot to get close and personal with the artistic masterminds behind favourite comic books, graphic novels, artwork, and creations.

We at City Montessori School believe in celebrating creativity and welcome cosplayers to create intensive and beautiful presentations. There is no limit to creativity (within reason) at our event.

We look forward to Fantasm 2023 with higher expectations than ever, where costumes get better, the characters more lifelike, and the craftsmanship all the more exquisite!
