Diwali is a festival of lights. It is one of the biggest and grandest festival celebrated to commemorate the mark of joy, victory, and harmony.

To get into the festive mood the students of classes 1 and 2 enthusiastically participated in various Inter- House Competitions.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. The little learners of Montessori and Nursery section of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I, inculcated this thought in themselves and celebrated the birthday of the Father of the Nation with a zealous heart by taking a pledge to serve the humanity.

The Kindergarteners celebrated the festival of Dussehra with great fervor and joy. The learners came dressed up little Lord Ram and Goodess Sita. They also enjoyed playing dandiya. The learners also showcased their creativity and presented a craft work of Ravana.

Mental health is a crucial part of our overall well-being. A positive mental health creates a more productive and collaborative environment. It creates an impact on our day to day life and also leads to various health issues, personality disorders and emotional imbalance if not taken care of.

Sports are the greatest physical poetry. Keeping this thought in mind City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I celebrated the National Sports Day by conducting an Inter Branch Sports Meet - FUNATHON. It is a two day event which started on 29th August with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Janmashtami marked the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna with great devotion on 18th August, 2022 in Rajendra Nagar Campus I.

The students of Primary section celebrated the birth of Lord Sri Krishna with a great enthusiasm. They were told about the importance of this day and also talked about the special delicacies prepared on this occasion.

6th August, 2022, the Pre Primary section celebrated ‘Green Day ‘ to enjoy the last few days of Sawan.

The tiny tots came dressed up in green attires and also wore headgears depicting the various green things. A wide variety of activities were planned for the learners.

The little learners of Nursery were taken for a field trip to a park on 2nd August, 2022. The tiny tots were introduced to the web topic: Pet Animals and Wild Animals in an open environment.

The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where all the young students are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I held the Investiture Ceremony on Friday, 29th July 2022 to invest the newly appointed School Council.

In pursuance of CMS objectives of Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection, students of the PRIMARY and the JUNIOR SECTION made bags out of paper and cloth and took a resolution that they will choose paper over plastic and prefer carrying their own bags to the retailers when they go to buy goods. These bags were later handed over to the vendors by the students to make them aware of the fact that we need to put an end to the usage of plastic bags for a secured future. They were also motivated to look for more eco - friendly items so that the usage of plastic bags is eliminated completely.

Eid al-Adha, honours the willingness of Prophet Abraham who, when asked by God to sacrifice a thing dearest to him, readily agreed to sacrifice his son, Ismail. The festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood, love and secularism was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of Junior Section.

Junior students, through their performances, brought out the significance of the day. The spirit of Eid al-Adha was well imbibed by the students. Students dressed themselves beautifully in colourful attire. They embraced each other to convey the greetings of Eid al-Adha and spread the message of brotherhood and togetherness.

“There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. Love for stories is the best of all. “The day for the Pre-Primary children started with the assembly. They sought the blessings of the Almighty by singing the school prayer. The children of the Pre-Primary Section enjoyed a storytelling session with their storytellers. The session was made enjoyable by including props and enactment.

Students of Rajendra Nagar Campus I collected plastic waste under the 'BLUE NUDGE' project. They stood 2nd amongst all the campuses, for their contribution to this project amongst all the CMS Campuses. A total of 114 students scored more than 2000 points and will be awarded with Planet Warrior certificate.

The theme of World Population Day 2022 is- ‘A universe of 8 billion which expects a strong future for all guaranteeing freedom and decisions for all.’ The highlight of the day was a very informative street play *Less crowd enough space, makes the Earth a better place’ in the assembly by the students of Rajendra Nagar Campus I, ICSE section (class 9) a very informative street play *Less crowd enough space, makes the Earth a better place’ staged in the assembly. The street play was followed by a beautiful song further adding to the awareness spirit. The students willingly participated in all the activities to be a part of the changing society.

A special assembly was organized to welcome the new students of class IX.

They introduced themselves with great confidence and happiness.

The occasion was graced by a welcome address by the Vice Principal Mrs. Reeta Fleming. ICSE Coordinators Mrs. Vineeta Seth and Mr. Harish Singh Nayal also blessed the students with inspirational words.

CMS, Rajendra Nagar Campus I, warmly welcomed the children by celebrating the auspicious ‘VIDYA KA PARV’ on the opening day of school on 1st July, 2022. The campus resonated with the chirpy voices and smiling faces of the students as the teachers showered their greetings. All Sections-Pre-Primary, Primary, Junior and Senior welcomed the students in their Special Assemblies and invoked Goddess Saraswati to bless the children to study well and develop their talents. Vice Principal Mrs. Reeta Fleming and the ISC in charge Mrs. Kalpana Singh motivated the students. To work hard and perform well in the new session.
