World Literacy Day

“Education is the most powerful weapon used to change the world.” Lines by Nelson Mandela.

We as custodians of knowledge and learning have it upon us to make sure that we do our little bit to make the world around us a little more literate and a little more independent. In this direction we the Pre Primary Section of City Montessori School Gomti Nagar 1 with great dedication observed World Literacy Day on September 8th 2016.

The Children of Pre Primary with their tiny hands and large hearts attempted this humongous task of teaching the Maids of the Pre Primary Section. They used the slates and chalks to write, unwrite and rewrite the destiny of the people whom they are served every single day with love and dedication.

The maids also tried their hands on the IWB, where they a little flabbergasted attempted to write their names. The day was fun filled and enjoyed by all. It was a tiny step to shoulder the responsibility of the society and give our children a larger perspective to lead their lives in.
