Instilling logical thinking from the very early ages pays off when we see the students excelling in academia in higher classes. Doing everything to make the little time the students spend, worthwhile and meaningful at school we the Pre Primary section of CMS-GN1 keep experimenting with various ideas and concepts.

On August 1st 2018, we organized Science Experiment Day to showcase some scientific phenomenon which might catch the attention of the Children and force them to ask why?

The Pre Primary lobby had a dedicated board which depicted what we were about to present to the children. 6 set of experiments were laid for the Children 1) Water walking 2) Starch Test 3) Layering of oil and water 4) Spinning of coin in a balloon 5) Microscope 6) Blowing balloon using Baking soda and vinegar.

The children were ecstatic at the sight of all and some even tried their hands on them.

Teaching children general health and hygiene definitely goes a long way in helping them maintain their health.

Keeping this in mind we the Pre Primary Section of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I organised a “Visit of A Nurse “for the children of the Montessori on July 13th 2018.

Our In house Nurse Mrs. Rajlakshmi was invited to visit the classes and shed some light on the topic of cleanliness, healthy food, first aid and safety.

Children dressed up like trees, wearing beautiful head gears made of leaves and reminded each other to plant more and more saplings around their homes. They even showed their love for trees by holding them tight and promised them that they will stop everyone from harming trees. On this occasion, a special assembly was conducted in which the kids were shown a motivational video on" Save Trees, Save Environment “and were asked their views on how to save trees.
