Dreek Roy Mehta born on March 24, 2017 entered India Book of Records 2023 for being the 'YOUNGEST TO PERFORM SURYA NAMASKAR'. He performed the whole Surya Namaskar asanas in 1 minute and 41 seconds.

Story Telling Competition

Iqra Shahid of Class II, CMS Chowk campus bagged the 1st prize in inter school story telling competition conducted by 'School Alert'.

World Environment Day

Afsheen Khan of VIII A, secured 3rd place for her Powerpoint Story in the category ‘Become an Environment Reporter’ which was organised by Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), ENVIS Resource Partner.

Kids Bonanza

Our pre-primary & primary (class II) team bagged the first prize in “wonderland” and second prize in impersonation on 14th September at Kids Bonanza organized by CMS Station Road. Children of class KG bagged the 3rd prize in rib tickler on the second day of the event.


Surya Pratap Singh of XII A won the II Prize in debate at the International Science Competition QUANTA. Sanyam Gupta and Abhineet Mehrotra XII A got an honorable mention in Aqua Challenge at QUANTA. Siddharth Rastogi of Std. X did the branch proud by securing International Rank 320 and the 16th state rank in the zone of Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand in the 13th SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) held in Lucknow.

Saumya Garg of Chowk Branch added another feather in the cap of the branch as she Topped the CPT(Common Proficiency Test) from lucknow conducted by ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants from India) a premier accounting body Recognised not only in the country but globally. Saumya scored 182 marks out of 200. Besides Saumya, Kulsoom Rizvi, Krishna Minocha and Iqra Mirza beg also cleared the examination. Amaan Khan topped in North India in grade 4 guitar securing 96% in the examination conducted by the Trinity College London.

Chowk campus was also the proud recipient of the trophy for ‘Outstanding Contribution in making Lucknow Literate’ The Trophy was given to the students by Mrs. Kiran Bedi. The Mayor of Lucknow Felicitated Iqbal Ahmad of Std. X , Maaz Alam, Ratna Verma also of std. X along with Ananya, Shivangi Hajela and Pragati of std XII and Their project on Each One Teach One impressed Mrs. Kiran Bedi so much that she selected them for her mission to make 9,00,00 students literate called Naulakha Mission.

It was a bonanza for the branch at the WIZ National Spell Bee Competition. Sanya Srivastava of std I secured the III rank in the Inter School Competition of WIZ National Spell Bee held at St. Francis College and was awarded with a certificate and cash prize of Rs 500/-. Sarah Rihab of std. III secured the III rank and was presented with a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 500/-. Snehil Sparsh of std. VI secured the II rank and was awarded a medal, a certificate and cash award of Rs 750/-. Saumya Khan of std. XI secured the 4th rank and received a certificate and a cash award of Rs 250/-. In the art competition organized on the occasion of Independence Day M. Wali of std. IV A, Asra Tamir std. IV D, Tarunika II D and Dhruv III C were declared winners.

On the Open Day for the Pre-Primary eager Mothers vied with one another and displayed their talent in Mehndi and Embroidery. The Highlight of the show was an array of beautiful decorative and useful items made out of waste. August saw a flavour of patriotism as children proudly held aloft the flags they had coloured to mark our Independence Day. Children also dance to the foot tapping patriotic songs on stage.

Children also tried their hand in coloring rakhis with vibrant colours. On the occasion of New Parent's Eve and Mother’s Day along with the National Presentation of CISV the children of Montessori, Nursery and KG charmed one and all by their dance on the Nursery rhymes which was a fusion of western and Indian classical. Children of Pre-Primary, Primary and junior sections have been at their creative best with class presentations on in full swing. Parents have been regaled with a plethora of activities ranging from elocution, rhymes, plays to using Montessori equipment’s deftly, experiments along with group discussions etc.

To mark the International hand washing day children showcased the various aspects of hygiene and its importance in day to day life. Various activities each day are carried out tiny tots like paper tearing, pasting, cotton dabbing, colouring, finger printing, ear bud printing etc. to make childhood a memorable experience. About 100 students from IX-XII along with 9 teachers had an enriching experience on a college trip to Chandigarh, Shimla and Daramsala from 14th-21st Oct. The Jakhoo Temple dedicated to the deity Hanuman was a wonderful experience in Shimla. In Dharamsala the Dalai Lama temple and its serene atmosphere added to the joy of the children and teachers alike. In Chandigarh the Sukhna Lake and Rock garden were a treat to the eyes. With DJ nites, Singing and Dancing, dumb charades and many competitions like swimming etc. the group came back with many lovely memories to treasure.

The CMS Head office organised a mock session of the Model United Nations on the 1st and 2nd of November at CMS Gomti nagar campus I where Harshita Jain XI C1 and Mahima Thakur XI C2 were given certificates for good report writing. The workshop for 60 students was conducted by Brain whiz, Delhi.

Archit Kumar of Std. VI won the 1st position in the individual round of the Inter Campus Elementary Maths Olympiad held at CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I. Pulkit Jain was awarded a cash award of Rs 634 from the government of Uttar Pradesh for obtaining highest marks in mathematics in ICSE Examination 2011-2012. At the poster making competition organized by SIPS Burn and Trauma Centre Snehil Sparsh of std. VII G bagged the 1st prize, Ansharah Tariq std. VII G bagged the 2nd prize and Insha Nandan of VII G the 3rd prize in group B. In Group C Amarjyot of X A2 won the 1st prize.
