The simple act of flying a kite is closely associated with spring weather and wholesome family fun, and February 8th is a great excuse to enjoy this fun pastime as it marks National Kite Flying Day.
On this occasion Pre-Primary section of CMS, Anand Nagar Campus organised Special Assembly to celebrate this day with our little ones.
Teachers told them the significance of National Kite Flying Day and students enthusiastically participated in the Assembly by enacting as a kite and by singing different kite songs.
Children also enjoyed singing Kite rhyme, '5 little kites that fly in the sky… ', through a multimedia presentation.
Different activities were also conducted in the classes:
- Montessori: Colouring and decorating a kite
- Nursery: Making colourful paper kite
- Kindergarten: Paper tearing and pasting activity.
It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.
