Victor Hugo stated, “There is one thing stronger than all the armies in the world and that is an idea whose time has come.” We, at CMS, believe that ‘Enforceable International Law is THE IDEA whose time has come’ and this is the theme of the Conference.

CMS is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest city-school with over 28,000 students on roll. CMS is also the world’s only school to receive the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education (2002). CMS upholds that ‘School must act as a Lighthouse of Society’ and provide meaningful education, spiritual direction and leadership not only to students but also to the parents and society at large, and must concern itself with the affairs of the age. Hence this initiative on children’s behalf.
