City Montessori School (CMS) is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as world’s largest school by pupils with present enrollment of over 32,000 students. CMS is also world’s only school to be honoured with the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education. CMS is also probably the only school to have a separate World Unity and Peace Education Department (WUPED).

For many years now WUPED has been running a vigorous campaign for world unity, a part of which entails organizing Annual Conference of Heads of National Judiciaries and Global Symposium for civil society organizations. The department also facilitates letter exchange programs with schools in other countries and cultures besides holding weekly World Unity Seminars for children on Sundays where attendance is voluntary.

In our quest to further expand our activities we constantly seek guidance and advice from eminent thinkers and activists.
