 Dear friends & children,
It gives me immense pleasure to extend a warm and cordial invitation to all to be a part of WIZMIC 2009, a competition of mathematics. I congratulate City Montessori School, RDSO branch for this exemplary and innovative thought.
CMS RDSO branch has always moved ahead of times under the able guidance of Mrs. S. Mansharamani, Principal and Convener, WIZMIC International Maths Competition, who has been working tirelessly along with her devoted team of teachers to put in their best for children and dedicated to the noble cause of spreading Education with a Purpose. As the word WIZMIC itself means wizards at mathematics it exclaims the victory over difficult problems of mathematics, easily and effectively.
Every competition is organised with the idea of ‘May the best win’ but WIZMIC believes that may everyone stand out to be a winner.
Well, does that sound a little far-fetched, it may but it is not. The purpose of WIZMIC is to make everyone understand the motive behind these competitions which will certainly be not shrunk by the old theory of winners and losers. City Montessori School, RDSO branch has ensured to emphasize more on what these competitions are made for and how they can be profitable to everyone. It is hoped that every participant may understand the beauty and joy of working together with a healthy competitive spirit, understanding the thoughts of each other and learning through them.
I wish the very best to every participant and hope that innovations, coordination and cooperation may be the end products of WIZMIC 2009.
