I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to all the participating teams who made the 9th SAARC Youth Festival , a grand success.
City Montessori School Lucknow , India is a Guinness Book Record Holder and a recipient of UNESCO prize for Peace Education 2002. It is different from other schools in that it rotates around the twin poles of Godliness and Globalism. Since its inception in 1959, it has been stressing upon its students to imbibe the spirit of World Peace and World Unity in accordance with its motto of Jai Jagat (Glory be to the World). City Montessori School regards the whole mankind as one family as per the Indian philosophy of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam (the whole earth is but one family). It has therefore been educating its students to regard themselves as the citizens of the world and also to bring about similar attitudinal change in society.
Carrying forward the flame of Universal brotherhood, I take immense pleasure to invite your entries for the 10TH SAARC Youth festival which is being organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus III, Lucknow, India.
SAARC 2009 is being organized for the students with the aim to bring about the all pervading goal of peace, harmony and progress in the region of South Asia and even beyond.

I hope that SAARC Youth festival will succeed in its goal of promoting and generating the feeling of brotherhood, peace and harmony through the means of healthy competitions and developing friendship transcending all geographical boundaries through post.
So, your country does not necessarily, have to be a member of SAARC for you to participate.
