The SAARC Youth Resolution recognized the rights of the youth for a healthy and balanced development in an environment of equity, harmonious family relationship and social peace. It also recognized their right to marketable skill, acquisition, gainful employment, sound health and healthy recreation for peace, growth of democratic ethos and achievement of social justice. The CMS philosophy is embodied in the SAARC youth resolution, which is aiming to train children to strive for a peaceful world. When the children of today understand one another better, they will cooperate with one another in times to come thereby spreading the message of love and brotherhood in the world.
Carrying forward the flame of Universal Brotherhood, the event of SAARC Youth Festival invites entries from students in the age group of 10 to 18 years for competitions such as Greeting Card Design, Poem Composition, Advertisement Making, Collage Making and Cartoon Making.
SAARC Youth Festival is organized with the aim to bring about the all pervading goal of peace, harmony and progress in the region of South Asia and even beyond. |
