We feel great pleasure in extending our invitation to you all to attend Quest- 2013, the 3rd International Festival of Biotechnology which is being organized by the City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus-1 after the phenomenal success of Quest- 2009 & Quest- 2011.This International Festival of Biotechnology is scheduled to be held from 3rd to 6th August 2013 at the CMS Girls Degree College, Kanpur Road, Lucknow.
Biotechnology offers enormous possibilities of its use as a meticulous tool for the welfare of society and creation of wealth for sustainable commercial and socio-economic development. Application of Biotechnology world over has considerably benefited Agriculture, Health Care and maintenance of clean environment and environmental protection.
The main objective of this event is to inspire and expose the young minds to Biotechnology through lectures and interactive sessions by the eminent scientists of the country. It is our utmost endeavor to focus on the latest advancements & applications of Biotechnology to spread awareness amongst the youth and develop in them the interest and enthusiasm for this field of science.
There will be Eight Events in Quest-2013, Four for the Senior Category (16yrs-18 yrs or Class XI & XII) & Four for the Junior Category (14yrs-16 yrs or Class IX & X) . The team may comprise of maximum Eight Students, accompanied by a teacher, who will be the Team Leader. Various events scheduled to be held are –
For Senior Category: Altercation (Debate), Confab (Seminar), Transformation (Turn Coat) & Manifestation (Power Point presentation)
For Junior Category: Melange (Collage Making), Noesis(Quiz), Flight of Imagination (Slogan Writing & Poster Making) & Elucidation (E-Painting)
We will be happy to extend free hospitality, including boarding, lodging and local transportation to the teams that are selected to participate in Quest-2013. There is no registration fee. As we can accommodate a limited number of teams only , you are requested to send the completed Confirmation & Registration Forms latest by 30th March 2013 & 15th April 2013 respectively.
