Dear Sir/ Madam,
With the school motto of JAI JAGAT (glory be to the world) and the philosophy of VASUDHAIV KUTUMBAKAM (the earth is but one family) as the guiding force, CMS has been trying to share its humanistic and global philosophy of education with like-minded and futuristic educationists like you. We are trying to share our conviction that the purpose of education is to establish a divine civilization on earth so that along with prosperity of all there would be world unity and world peace in a healthy environment.
To share our global views and develop the powers and capacities latent in the youth and to motivate the teenagers to contribute their share to an ever advancing civilization, CMS, Indira Nagar is organizing World Peace Festival & UNESCO day for students of India and foreign countries.
If the minds of today’s youngsters are a mine rich in gems of inestimable value, the World Peace Festival & UNESCO day can help reveal the marvels and treasures of their minds and spirit and enable mankind to benefit from their superior awareness of the state of the world. During the three-day programme, competitions like Turncoat, solo singing, creative writing, poem composition, group singing, speech, slide show, collage and techno paint will be held for local teams.
We aim to explore healthy avenues to release the youth’s capacities, develop their physical abilities, build self-confidence, will-power and goal setting competencies and instil in the young minds a vision that will enable them to become self-motivated agents of social change to serve the interests of all beyond national boundaries.
The World Peace Festival & UNESCO day is scheduled to be held at CMS, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, from 13 to 15 November, 2010.
All the details relating to this festival are there in this brochure. For detailed information about the World Peace Festival you are requested to kindly visit http://www.cmseducation.org/peace.
