CMS student, Kartikeya returns home after training at world famous music institute in London

> Kartikeya Srivastava, a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar returned home after getting trained for Advanced Private Drumming by great drum masters and musicians like Francis Seriau, Mick Morena, Philippe Castermane and Darryn Farrugia at the world famous drumming school Drumtech Institute in London, UK. Kartikeya has mastered the art of playing the eight piece Pearl Drumtech. He is the first Indian who has registered as a child musician and trained at the drumtech Institute. This famous Institute is known throughout Europe for training young masters in music. The Insititute had especially invited young Kartikeya for training him intensively in the art of drumming.

Passionately devoted to drumming from the age of 8, Kartikeya has already earned his VISHARAD in tabla from Bhatkhande Music Institute of Lucknow. A class XI student, he went to Singapore in 2005 to be trained under the world famous drummers Kevin Kew and Tony Zee. Kartikeya is the first Indian student to perform at DRUMTECH, London. His father, Mayank Srivastava, is a famous sculptor of Lucknow. Kartikeya plans to join the company of today’s musical greats like Yanni, Santana and Bon Jovi.
