Lucknow, May 7: Meritorious students of City Montessori School have once again created new records in the ISC and ICSE Board Examinations, the results of which were declared this afternoon. In the ISC (Class XII) Board Examination, Vedanshi Tiwari of CMS Mahanagar Campus has secured the first position in the state, and 2nd position in the national merit list, with 99.75 percent marks.
8 CMS students grabbed the 2nd state rank and the 3rd rank nationally in ISC, with 99.5 percent aggregate mark. They are: Ananya Kalra of CMS Gomti Nagar 1 campus; Astha Garg, Ahmad Rushan, Ayushi Saxena and Subrat Shukla of CMS Mahanagar Campus; Rwitick Ghosh of CMS Station Road campus; and Aditya Singh and Dhruv Kushwaha of CMS Kanpur Road campus. In addition, there are 9 CMS students in the 3rd position in the state Merit List, with 99.25% mark. They are Ujjwal Mahendra Agarwal, Pranjal Srivastava, Chahat Singh and Ritwick Srivastava of CMS Mahanagar campus; Nivriti Singh, Suyash Vardhan Mathur and Snehil Gupta of CMS Gomti Nagar 1 campus; Akshansh Singh of CMS Kanpur Road campus; and Anand Sharma of CMS RDSO campus.
In the ICSE (Class X) Board examination, Radhika Gupta of CMS Mahanagar Campus has secured the first position in the state and stood 2nd in the national merit list, with 99.40 percent marks.
1 CMS student – Shashwat Verma of Gomti Nagar Extension campus – grabbed the 2nd state rank and the 3rd rank in ICSE nationally, with 99.20 percent aggregate mark. Finally 1 CMS student – Sanskriti Gautam of CMS Mahanagar campus - also secured the 3rd rank in the state Merit List, with 99.00 percent mark.
A total of 2786 CMS students took the ISC Board Examination this year, out of which 1451 students or 52.1% secured between 90% to 99.75% marks. Most other students too have secured high percentage, bringing fame to the school on the national level.
The ISC and ICSE Board Examination results 2019 prove yet again that CMS is in the vanguard of the highest achieving schools of the country. CMS students have brought glory to the city of Lucknow by their unparalleled board performance.
On Wednesday, 8 May at 7.00 am, all the CMS toppers will take out a grand Victory March celebrating the historic and unprecedented result of the institution. The Victory March will begin from Maqdumpur Police Chowki at Gomti Nagar Extension and reach its destination at CMS Gomti Nagar (Campus II) auditorium. After the Victory March, a grand Meritorious Students' Honouring Ceremony will be held at CMS Gomti Nagar (Campus II) auditorium wherein these outstanding and brilliant trail blazers, who have secured 90% to 99.75 % in ISC & ICSE Board Examinations 2019 will be felicitated by Shri Rajendra Kumar Tiwari, Additional Chief Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education, Government of U.P who will be the Chief Guest on the occasion.
