CMS takes out 'Environmental March' on National Pollution Control Day

Lucknow, December 02:On 2nd December, the National Pollution Control Day, CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus I students, took out a huge 'Environmental March' raising their voice to conserve and protect the environment and they also suggested measures to bring down pollution levels. CMS students sensitized masses about environmental degradation worsening every day. The students took out their march from 1090 crossing to CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I. Chief Guest, Shri Dara Singh Chauhan flagged off the march. Other participating schools and CMS Campuses included CMS Aliganj Campus I, Scholars Home and Riverside Academy along with the social organization Bhoomi Initiative. CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that top environmental problems are our greed, empathy and carelessness. These cannot be solved by technical help but we will have to transform our behaviour and work for sustainable development.
