Thousands of CMS ISC and ICSE position holders take out Victory March


Lucknow, May 15: 2263 CMS meritorious students who scored a whopping 90% to 99.50% marks in ISC and ICSE Board Examinations took out a grand 'Victory March' on 15 May to celebrate their stupendous success, a grand motivation for their juniors. The 'Victory March' of these CMS students began from the Maqdoompur Police Chowki, Gomti Nagar Extension and turned into a huge assembly on reaching CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium, where these 2263 meritorious students were honoured for scoring 90% to 99.50% marks in ISC and ICSE Board Exams.

Chief Guest, Mrs Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Cabinet Minister, Women and Family Welfare, UP, honoured the three most meritorious students of CMS, Radhika Chandra and Saman Wahid of CMS Mahanagar Campus and Sakshi Pradyumn of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, who have secured the top rank in National Merit List of ISC (Class XII) Board Examination, by awarding them cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh each. The main attraction of the grand Honouring Ceremony was the felicitation of mothers of these three students, who were weighed in fruits and flowers and their fathers and teachers were presented Shawls of Honour.

In this grand felicitation ceremony, the 14 record breaking outstanding students of City Montessori School, the first, second and third rank holders of National Merit List of ISC (Class XII) were especially felicitated. These include Radhika Chandra and Saman Wahid of CMS Mahanagar Campus and Sakshi Pradyumn of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, all three students secured the first position in the country with 99.50% marks while two CMS students Sanjeevani Hazra of CMS Kanpur Road Campus and Mansi Acharya of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I have grabbed the second position nationally, securing 99.25% marks in aggregate. Besides, as many as 9 students of CMS, namely, Muskan Tandon and Ibrahim Kamal of CMS Mahanagar Campus; Shashwat Kumar of CMS Aliganj Campus I; Ashutosh Synghal and Swasti Arya of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I; Saumya Shikhar Mishra and Utkarsh Nigam of CMS Kanpur Road Campus; Bhagyashree of CMS Chowk Campus and Shreshtha Gupta of CMS RDSO Campus are at the third position nationally, with 99% marks.

Similarly, the five CMS students of CMS who secured first, second and third position in ICSE (Class X) Board Examination were felicitated. These students are Shreya Bhagat of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I securing the first position in the state with 98.80% marks and Khushi Verma of CMS Station Road Campus, securing the second position in the state with 98.60% marks. Apart from these, three CMS students namely, Mimansha Ranjan and Anushka Singh of CMS Aliganj Campus I and Komal Haswani of CMS RDSO Campus have grabbed the third position in the state securing 98.20% marks in aggregate.

Besides these, all the 2263 meritorious students of CMS who had secured 90% to 99.50% marks in the aggregate in ISC and ICSE Board Examinations were honoured and felicitated in a grand way.
