CMS teachers take Prabhat Pheri on 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhiji believed that cleanliness is next to godliness

Lucknow, October 03: Speaking at the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Celebrations' organized at City Montessori school, Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium, the Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Mr Keshav Prasad Maurya said that cleanliness is the true service towards society. Due to determination and commitment of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, now even children of India have taken pledge to keep country clean and for the masses it has become a national religion. Congratulating people on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister, Mr Lal Bahadur Shastri, Mr Maurya said that we have to fulfil the dream of Bapu. Special Guest of Honour, Mr Jagdeesh Chandra, former IAS, Executive Director and CEO, Zee Media Channels, said in his address that I commend CMS teachers for taking the cleanliness journey forward. Cleanliness is a great mission in which each citizen should contribute. It may be mentioned here that going along the guidelines of Hon'ble Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, above 4000 CMS teachers and workers took out 'Clean India, Green India' Prabhat Pheri on 'Gandhi Jayanti and International Day of Non-Violence to proclaim 'cleanliness' and educational-cultural items followed it spreading cleanliness message of Mahatma Gandhi.
