4000 CMS students and teachers take out Prabhat Pheri to commemorate birth centenary of
Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay

Lucknow, August 01: For achieving greatness in life, it is not necessary to be born in a rich family, what is important is that one should have noble ideas and thoughts and perform noble deeds. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay was not born in a very rich and high class family, but he achieved true greatness with his noble thoughts and actions. For such people the whole world is their stage, their home. These were the thoughts expressed by the Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly, Mr Hridaya Narayan Dixit who was addressing the august gathering at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium on the occasion of birth anniversary celebrations of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay as the Chief Guest. Earlier, approximately 4000 CMS students and teachers today took out "Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Birth Centenary Jan Jagran Prabhat Pheri", spread his thoughts, personality and deeds to the masses for reforming the society. The Prabhat Pheri began at Maqdoompur Police Chowki at Gomti Nagar extension and became a huge congregation on reaching CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. Mrs Swati Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Women and Family Welfare, UP and Mr Pankaj Singh, MLA and General Secretary, Bhartiya Janata Party, UP, led the Prabhat Pheri whereas CMS Founders and renowned educationists, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi; CMS President Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and Director of Strategy, Roshan Forouhi, Principals of all 19 CMS Campuses and various dignitaries also marched at the Prabhat Pheri to encourage CMS students for upholding the values of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
