History Festival "Reflections" sends message of World Unity across the world




Lucknow, 11 August : The four-day International Festival of History and Civics 'Reflections-2015' organized by CMS, Mahanagar (Campus III) was ceremoniously inaugurated on 11 August at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The inaugural function was resplendent with music and dance items revealing the creative abilities of students and promoting the spirit of Unity in Diversity as well as the rich cultural heritage of India. Chief Guest, Mr Om Prakash Singh, Minister, Tourism, UP, inaugurated the festival ceremoniously by lighting the lamp of unity and peace.

            Convenor of 'Reflections-2015' and Principal of CMS Mahanagar (Campus III), Dr Kalpana Tripathi said that the time has come for the new generation to learn from past mistakes in history and be well prepared for future challenges. She informed that the competitions of 'Reflections-2015' comprise International History Olympiad; King Arthur's Round Table (Group Discussion); Expressions Unfurled (Brochure - Making); Freedom in Colour (Poster - Making); Envision (Debate); Recreating the Magic (Model - Display); Socrates Speaketh (Speech Competition); Insight (Paper Presentation); Endeavour (Projects on community service); Kaleidoscope (Choreography) etc. These events will be judged by the distinguished experts of related fields.
