Republic Day Parade and Celebrations 2018

Republic Day was celebrated with great joy on 26th January 2018. CMS Campuses put up colourful displays, March Pasts and musical bands at the ceremonial parade, The CMS Tableau, based on the need for embracing the provisions of Article 51 of the Constitution of India and giving a direction to the whole world by urging for a World Parliament, a World Court of Justice and a World Government was highly appreciated. It emphasized on Unity of Religion and Oneness of Mankind as all religions come from the same One God was also presented in a very attractive manner. The majesty and grandeur of the CMS Tableau at the Republic Day Parade was unmatched.

It may be mentioned that it was after the Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950 that India became a federal, democratic republic within the Commonwealth, abolishing the British monarchial rule in India. After independence, the Constituent Assembly appointed the drafting committee, with Dr BR Ambedkar as its chairman, to draft the Constitution. The Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949 but brought it into effect on January 26, 1950.
