Calligraphy is the art of artistic and ornamental lettering of words.
This competition is open to all groups.

NOTE : The focus will be on the artistic lettering and hence only the matter given below should be written otherwise the entries will be disqualified.

Group A It is not a disgrace to not reach the stars, but it’s a disgrace to have no stars to reach for.

 Dream , dream , dream. Your dreams will transform into thoughts. Thoughts lead to honest work , work will result in action and you will succeed.
   
Group C What would you like to be remembered for? You have to evolve yourself and shape your life. You should write it on a page and that may be a very important page in the book of human history.
   
Rules  
1. Entries should be submitted on a thick white chart paper 20 x 30 cms.
2. All the entries must carry the name , class, age , school’s name, school’s address, topic, event, group and the name of the city only on the reverse side of the entry in block letters on the format which is attached at the end of the brochure.
3. The entries must be made vertical and not horizontal.
4. There is no restriction on the medium(s) that the participant wishes to use and therefore any font(s) can be used.
5. Every entry must be edged with black or red tape against a white background.
6. The entries will be judged on the basis of the following :
 
Font - 20 marks
Design   - 10 marks
Clarity - 10 marks
Overall presentation - 10 marks
Total - 50 marks
Note All the entries that do not conform to the specifications, will be disqualified.

The presentation should be compatible with in the constraints of Microsoft XP – SP 2 and Microsoft Office 2003.
4.

The entries can be sent by either an individual or a team (comprising a maximum of 3 students).
5.

Entries to be maximum of 2 MB in size.
6. Details of the participating teams / participant(s) must be supplied on a separate school letter head with seal and signature of the Head Of The Institution.
7. All the entries for Power Point Presentation must bear the name of the student(s) and school, the name of the main file, event, topic and group should be pasted on the cover / case of CD or DVD.
8. The first slide name should be indicated clearly along with the name of the participant, name of the school and the city on the CD with a marker.

4. Duration of the film should not be more than 10 minutes.
5. The name of the participants along with their school, city and the size / duration of the file must be indicated on the CD itself with a marker.
