We are pleased to inform you that our school, City Montessori Inter College, Station Road Campus, is organizing the “5th International Youth Convention on Commerce and Economics” from the 1st Nov-2019 to 4th Nov-2019. City Montessori School is the world’s largest school recognized by the Guinness Book of world records, it is also a recipient of the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education 2002 for promoting world peace and has also been awarded the Hope of Humanity Award by the Dalai Lama in 2010.

City Montessori School is a name to reckon with not only in the field of academics but also in the arena of holistic development of children. We aim at creating leaders who will lead by example and serve as torch bearers for the society at large. The IYCCE is meant to provide a platform for the participants to integrate the interactive ingredients of the new progressive economy in order to enhance their competitive advantages The intent here is to engage some of the best brains in some wracking battles of wit and intelligence along with fun elements with a global flavor owing to participation by young adults from various parts of the world. This in turn will help the students in assessing their own capacities in Economics, Commerce and Accounts at an international level.

About the 5th IYCCE- 2019

The IYCCE-19 will include competitions and seminars devoted to Commerce and Economics for creating awareness among students regarding Corporate Social Responsibility. After deliberating with experts, all aspects of commercial enterprise were sought to be incorporated in the events.

Events: A team comprising maximum 10 (ten) participants and minimum 4(excluding Team Leader/Principal)

Note: Six participants of senior category and four participants of junior category.

Category: Senior category (Classes XI and XII or 16-18 yrs, and junior category (classes IX-X or13-15 yrs).

General Guidelines & Code of Conduct

General Guidelines

  1. The participating Schools are permitted to bring a maximum of six participants from senior category (Classes XI and XII/16-18yrs) and four participants from junior category (Classes IX and X/13-15yrs) total ten Participants.
  2. Team leader can be the Principal or the Vice-Principal or a senior teacher nominated by the Principal.
  3. REGISTRATION for local teams will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on 31st October 2019 and for outstation teams from 11:00 a.m. onwards.
  4. Team leaders and participants must read the brochure for any error in names of participants before registration.
  5. All events of “IYCCE-2019” will be conducted in English.
  6. Arrangements for boarding and lodging will be made during the convention by the IYCCE organizer.
  7. The Championship Trophy will be awarded to the team that wins the maximum points. There will be One Runners up trophy as well.
  8. Certificate of participation will be awarded to each participant. First, Second and Third position holders will be given points respectively. These points will be added to the total tally of their respective teams.
  9. Special prize will be awarded to the most vibrant, creative team and most versatile team from teams.
  10. The most disciplined and cooperative team will also be awarded a special citation
  11. Travel Expenses of the outstation teams will be borne by their parent/Institution up to Railway Station / Bus Station Lucknow/Airport Lucknow. However, City Montessori School, Lucknow will be happy to provide free hospitality to all the outstation participants. This includes transport from the Railway Station/Airport Lucknow, and boarding and lodging in well-equipped guest houses.
  12. Any queries regarding the event can be duly answered by the organizing secretary of the convention.
  13. Meals will be served as timings given below:
    BREAKFAST : 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., LUNCH :1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., DINNER : 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    All participants must follow the timings.
  14. All participants and team leaders must reach the auditorium everyday by 8:00 a.m Sharp.
  15. City Montessori School will be happy to extend hospitality including food, boarding, lodging and local transport to the participants.
  16. Registration Fees:
    1. A registration fee of Rs 1000(Rupees one thousand only per participant) for National (Indian) participants and US $ 20(US dollar 20 per participant) for international (Overseas) participants will be charged from each student participant.
    2. The registration fee will be paid by demand draft drawn in favour of “CITY MONTESSORI SCHOOL, LUCKNOW” payable at LUCKNOW.
    3. The registration form will be considered valid only if it is complete in all respects and is duly signed by the Head of the institution. Confirmation of participation must reach the convenor, “IYCCE” latest by 20th August 2019 on the enclosed letter of confirmation followed by duly filed registration form which should reach the convenor latest by 10th September 2019. Last Date of the receipt of Travel Plan: The last date of receipt of the travel plan (for overseas and national participants) is 8th October 2019.
    4. The registration form travel form and VISA application form (to be filled by only those schools /colleges that require VISA to enter India) can be sent through Email: iycce@cmseducation.org or Fax:91-0522-2636424. In case of any queries regarding IYCCE please write to the Organizing secretary of the convention.

Code of Conduct

  1. Full uniform of the respective school should be worn by the participants
  2. Identification badges will be presented to the participants upon arrival. It must be worn throughout the Event.
  3. Only students of the participating team and their team leaders shall be accommodated. Infants or younger children are not permitted.
  4. The visiting team (outstation) along with their team leader must be present at the venue at all times.
  5. Sightseeing /shopping opportunities shall be planned by the host school. Teams interested in sightseeing /shopping should get their reservation done at the prescribed counter as per the schedule.
  6. Medical facilities will be available at the venue.
  7. Communication Centre will be functional round the clock (for telephone, fax and e-mail).
  8. Proper discipline and decorum is to be maintained at all times.
  9. No relative or friend will be allowed to meet any participant until the conclusion of the events of IYCCE-2019
  10. The team leader will be personally responsible for the conduct of the team members
  11. Any breach of discipline may lead to the disqualification of the team and the organizer may be constrained to request the team to withdraw from participation.
  12. Participants are advised to ensure the safety of their belongings while at the venue.
  13. Printing and typing facilities will not be provided at the venue.
  14. The participating school must ensure that their entries are complete in all respects.
  15. The entries must be duly forwarded by the head of the institution.
  16. The entries which do not conform to the rules specified for each competition will stand null and void.
  17. A team can participate in one or more number of events, provided there is no time clash. However, a team has to participate in the event(s) for which it is registered.
  18. Withdrawal and non-participation from the registered event will lead to disqualification.
  19. The sanctity of the events will be monitored by professionals & experts
