We are pleased to inform you that our school, City Montessori Inter College, Station Road Campus, is organizing the “4th International Youth Convention on Commerce and Economics” from the 28th to 31st October2017. City Montessori School is the world’s largest school recognized by the Guinness Book of world records, is a recipient of the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education 2002 for promoting world peace and has also been awarded the Hope of Humanity Award by the Dalai Lama in 2010.

City Montessori School is not only a pioneer in the field of education and pedagogical innovation but also along with academics. It also provides the students a symposium of multifarious activities .We want to create leaders who care not only about their own selfish needs but also about the needs of the environment. They should create the synergies that will allow them to integrate the interactive ingredients of the new progressive economy in order to enhance their competitive advantage.

About the 4th IYCCE- 2017

The IYCCE-17 will include competitions and seminars devoted to Commerce and Economics for creating awareness among students regarding Corporate Social Responsibility. After deliberating with experts, all aspects of commercial enterprise were sought to be incorporated in the events.

Events: A team comprising maximum 10 (ten) participants and minimum 4 (excluding Team Leader/Principal).

Note: Six participants of senior category and four participants of junior category.

Category: Senior category (Classes XI and XII or 16-18 yrs, and junior category Classes IX-X or 13-15 yrs).

The 4th International Youth Convention on Commerce and Economics-2017 (IYCCE-2017) is organized by CMS, Station Road Campus to create corporate social responsibility and leadership qualities in students.

General Guidelines & Code of Conduct

General Guidelines


  1. The participating Schools are permitted to bring maximum six participants from senior category (Classes XI and XII/16-18 yrs) and four participants from junior category (Classes IX and X/13-15 yrs) total ten Participants.
  2. Team leader can be the Principal or the Vice-Principal or a senior teacher nominated by the Principal.
  3. REGISTRATION for local teams will be open from 9.00 to 11.00 a.m. & for outstation teams from 10.30 a.m. onwards, on 26th October, 2017.
  4. Team leaders and participants must read the brochure for any error in names of participants before registration.
  5. All events of “IYCCE-2017” will be conducted in English.
  6. Arrangements for boarding and lodging will be made during the convention by the IYCCE organizer.
  7. The Championship Trophy will be awarded to the team that wins the maximum points. There will be One Runners up trophy as well.
  8. Certificate of participation will be awarded to each participant. First, Second and Third position holders will be given points respectively. These points will be added to the total tally of their respective teams.
  9. Special prize will be awarded to the most vibrant, creative team and most versatile team from among the teams.
  10. The most disciplined and cooperative team will also be awarded a special citation
  11. Travel Expenses of the outstation teams will be borne by their parent institution up to Railway Station/Bus Station Lucknow/Airport Lucknow. However, City Montessori School, Lucknow will be happy to provide free hospitality to all the outstation participants. This includes transport from the Railway Station/Airport Lucknow, and boarding and lodging in well equipped guest houses.
  12. Any queries regarding the event can be duly answered by the organizing secretary of the convention.
  13. Meals will be served as timings given below:
    BREAKFAST : 7.00 a.m. to 7.45 a.m., LUNCH :1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m., DINNER : 9.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.
    All participants must follow the timings.
  14. All participants and team leaders must reach the auditorium everyday by 8.00 a.m. Sharp.
  15. Registration Fees:
    1. A registration fee of Rs 500 (Rupees Five hundred only per participants) for National (Indian) participants and US $ 10 (US dollar 10 per participant) for international (Overseas) participants will be charged from each student participant.
    2. The registration fee will be paid by demand draft drawn in favour of “CITY MONTESSORI SCHOOL, LUCKNOW” payable at LUCKNOW.
    3. The registration form will be considered valid only if it is complete in all respects and duly signed by the Head of the institution.
    4. Confirmation of participation must reach the convener, “IYCCE” latest by 20th August - 2017 on the enclosed letter of confirmation followed by duly filed registration form which should reach the convener latest by 10th September 2017.
    5. Last Date of the receipt of Travel Plan: The last date of receipt of the travel plan (for overseas and national participants) is 8th October, 2017.
    6. The registration form travel form and VISA application form (to be filled by only those schools/colleges that require VISA to enter India) can be sent through Email: iycce@cmseducation.org or Fax: 91-0522-2636424.
    7. In case of any queries regarding IYCCE write to the Organizing secretary of the convention.

Code of Conduct


  1. Full uniform of the respective school should be worn by the participants.
  2. Identification badges will be presented to the participants upon arrival. It must be worn throughout the Event.
  3. Only students of the participating team and their team leaders shall be accommodated. Infants or younger children will not be accommodated.
  4. The visiting team (outstation) along with their team leader must be present at the venue at all times.
  5. Lucknow Sightseeing /shopping opportunities shall be planned by the host school on 27th October and on 1st November. Teams interested in sightseeing /shopping should get their reservation done at the prescribed counter as per the schedule.
  6. Medical facilities will be provided at the venue.
  7. Communication centre will be functional round the clock (for telephone, fax and e-mail.)
  8. Proper discipline and decorum is to be maintained at all times.
  9. No relative or friend will be allowed to meet any participant until the conclusion of the events of IYCCE-2017.
  10. The team leader will be personally responsible for the conduct of the team members.
  11. Any breach of discipline may lead to the disqualification of the team and the organizer may be constrained to request the team to withdraw from the venue.
  12. Participants are advised to ensure the safety of their belongings while at the venue.
  13. Printing and typing facilities will not be provided at the venue.
  14. The participating school must ensure that their entries are complete in all respects.
  15. The entries must be duly forwarded by the Head of the institution.
  16. The entries which do not conform to the rules specified for each competition will stand disqualified.
  17. A team can participate in one or more number of events, provided there is no time clash. However, a team has to participate in the event(s) for which it is registered.
  18. Withdrawal and non participation from the registered event will lead to disqualification.
  19. The sanctity of the events will be monitored by the professionals and experts.
