It is my great privilege to be associated with the novel project of the International Schools Cricket Premier League. I am sure it will prove to be a landmark for school students and provide them an international arena to showcase the best of their talents and infuse in them the zeal to become stalwarts of the cricket world.
The concept of taking cricket to the schools in the form of the ISCPL as engineered by City Montessori School is very unique as it aims to provide an international exchange of ideas and talents and strives for the 'Unity of Hearts', which is the need of this hour. Cricket being loved by one and all has the power to bind cultures and nations together.
The promotion of cricket nurseries in schools will also channelize the energy of the youth in a positive direction as well as teach them the values of universal brotherhood, oneness of mankind and religion and make them learn the importance of team spirit. They shall learn to enjoy victories and at the same time, to accept failures, which I am sure will empower the youth of today to become tomorrow's world class Total Quality Persons.
