City Montessori School, Lucknow is a unique school with many firsts to its credit. It is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the largest private school in a single city with more than 40,000 students on its rolls. It is also the proud recipient of the 2002 UNESCO Prize for Peace Education. It is the first school in the world to introduce, propagate and institutionalize the concept of Quality Circles and Total Quality Management in Education in the year 1992.
City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, Lucknow, has added another dimension to the school activities by organizing the World's 1st International School Cricket Premier League (ISCPL) in 2011. Keeping up with the latest popularity of T20 among all other sports, we chose to conduct this ISCPL to showcase and unleash the latent talents of the students in this arena. The event proved to be a landmark and provided a wonderful opportunity for the students to participate in a healthy and positive environment that taught them values, ethics and in turn strengthened the student community by promoting competition without conflict.
At City Montessori School, every activity is oriented towards the promotion of peace, brotherhood, harmony and unity and the 2ndISCPL is yet another event which shall support this cause.
