Dear Principals of eminent schools/colleges of the World,

Warm Greetings from our institution! As you may be knowing that we have been organizing International Innovation Day event for the last five years to commemorate the vision of Bharat Ratna, H.E. Dr. A.P.J. Kalam, 11th President of India, who has dedicated his life for the cause of science and scientific innovations. This is our 7th year of competition and exhibition and we take this opportunity to thank all the participating institutions for making it a grand success every year. I congratulate not only the winners but also those who participated in the event, as their collective contribution of innovative ideas has germinated into a flourishing tree of creativity.

International Innovation Day is an international competition to harness the creative and innovative spirit of school children. Students are invited to send their original ideas and innovations in any fields/area. We want to promote originality, creativity and innovative spirit among our children so that when they become leaders of our society, they ensure an imaginative, inclusive and an innovative future for the world. Such participation will not only produce a deep sense of achievement and satisfaction within the hearts of the pupils, but will also make the world a better place to live in, because any form of art adds beauty and almost all innovations increase convenience and comfort.

It is a pleasure to invite you to participate in the 7th IID competitions. The International Innovation Day offers a unique opportunity to the students of class VI to XII from around the world to submit their innovations in the following fields:-

1.Creative Writing Contest,
2. Poster Making Contest,
3. Essay Writing contest,
4. Inventor Project Making Contest,
5. Portrait Making Contest,
6. Calligraphy Contest and
7. Mind Mapping Contest

The events will be held in three groups:-

Group A (11 to 13 years) Classes VI,VII,VII
Group B (14 to 15 years) Classes IX, X
Group C (16 to 18 years) Classes XI, XII

This is an off campus event. The entries will be accepted through email, fax or by post. The last date for entries to reach us is 5th October, 2011.
