SHOULD BE JOINING THE WORLD COUNCIL (WC)? |
The
members will be Quality Experts, Academicians,
Administrators, Managers, Professionals, Executives,
Students and Teachers and all those who think
students are the most precious assets of the world
and who want to contribute and share their vision,
ideas and methodology for the development and
growth of students as quality citizens. |

The
Inaugural Ceremony of the WC was organised and
hosted by City Montessori School & Degree
College, Lucknow, India, as the nodal agency and
Mr. Jagdish Gandhi, Founder Manager, CMS as the
Life Chairman of WC. The World Council is having

| WHAT
ARE THE AIMS ? |
The
WC has been formed for the purpose of global promotion
of SQCC as an integral part of TQM in academics.
It shall develop attitude and skills among students
and inculcate positive outlook towards Quality
and Productivity. It shall also aim at institutionalising
techniques and training methodology for excellence
in education in order to build Total Quality People.
Enlightened governments and educators
recognize the need for an organizational approach
to excellence by defining roles of administrators,
teachers, students, parents and the community.
The WC promotes Total Quality Education (TQE)
as a systematic & innovative approach to institutions
of learning, in a manner that provides opportunities
for holistic development of the child & satisfaction
of all its customers. This empowers all individuals
within the teaching Institutions to take control
of their processes and continuously improve upon
them.
TQE requires the development
of positive alliances both within and outside
the school system. An imperative need would be
to have a unified effort aimed at seeking mutually
beneficial opportunities to improve educational
system. In order to be successful, the collaboration
must focus on exemplary leadership, new paradigms
of operation, setting up of SQCCs, teacher QITs,
parents’ involvement, setting mutually agreed
objectives and frequent and open dialogues. This
should endeavour to identify and eliminate barriers
to improvements and give a conducive environment
to the child for all round growth. It shall also
enable teachers, students, parents and community
to work towards developing the students in a manner
that would make them more responsive and proactive
to face the challenges of the New Millennium .
In fact TQE is for developing a Total Quality
People. |

WHAT
ARE THE MAIN ACTIVITIES ? |
a. Conduct training for
school administrators, teachers, students and parents
on Total Quality and People Involvement Process
(PIP) in education.
b. Collect and develop resource material.
c. Develop curriculum for training programmes.
d. QSP, ISO 9000 and helping in certification.
e. Provide consultancy.
f. Organise conventions, workshops, seminars and
quality exhibitions.
g. Printing of books, magazines and other publications.
h. Awards and recognition. |
