Dear Friends,

At the very outset, let me take this opportunity to introduce our institution, City Montessori School. The school, popularly known as CMS had a humble beginning 56 years ago in 1959 with merely 5 students on its rolls. Now it has grown to become the Guinness World Record Holder, for being the largest school by pupils with over 50,000 students on roll and is the proud recipient of the 2002 UNESCO Prize for Peace Education.

Since its inception in the year 2002, Geofest International has earned acclaim and goodwill of many institutions and organizations which endeavour to work towards saving the planet from man made problems. One such international organization of widespread acclaim is the National Geographic Society, USA. This top Geography Society of the world has been inviting our team as our country's representative to participate in its National Geographic World Championship.

It gives me immense pleasure to extend a cordial invitation to your esteemed Institution to participate in the 13th Geofest International and the National Geography Olympiad scheduled to be held from 1st to 4th November 2015. Participation of your institution in this event will give your students an opportunity to compete with students of various countries of the world, in competitions designed to inculcate in them a desire to save earth's environment which is currently under threat of deterioration and destruction.

With participation of institutions from all parts of the country, as well as, from overseas, Geofest has become a means of awakening the conscience to protect planet Earth from further decay due to climatic changes and global warming. Let me assure you that your students will learn much from this olympiad by participating in its competitions which are designed to spread awareness on how to prevent more damage to mother Earth.
Events during the fest include: 'Create your Taste' (Collage Making), 'Model Display', 'Geo-Talk' (Debate), 'GeoToons' (Cartoon Making), 'Geo-Tech' (Web Designing), 'Quizzing' and Voice & Vision (Choreography). Organised by the students and staff of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I. The fest promises to be a global platform for young minds to contemplate and discuss on environmental issues that affect the entire humanity. We specially invite respected Principals of participating schools and colleges, along with their team members, as our special guest of honour.

Kindly visit our website for further updated details and contact us on our e-mail at Looking forward to your participation in an exciting and rewarding experience at Geofest 2015.
