Resume of Dr Jagdish Gandhi
Dr Jagdish Gandhi was born on 10 November, 1936 in a poor family in the Barsauli Village in district Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. Influenced greatly by Mahatma Gandhi, Vinoba Bhave and others, a young and idealistic Jagdish Gandhi ventured in 1959 to create a new mindset through education. With just five children on roll, no personal wealth, and the equivalent of Rupees 300/- (US $10) in borrowed capital, the motivated Dr Gandhi began his own personal experiment in Lucknow, India, some fifty one years ago in the name of City Montessori School.

Started two FM Educational Radio Stations, 365 days a year. Situated at CMS Kanpur Road and CMS Gomti Nagar, the stations relay programmes on 90.4 MHZ based on spiritual education of the students. The radio stations relays educational and health programmes on spiritual awakening of children to enhance the knowledge and the all spiritual personality of children and the community. This 16 hour programme is aired daily in two shifts in both the CMS FM radio stations.
Film Division
Established a fully fledged film division and a state-of-the-art audio visual recording studio. The Film Division produces meaningful educational spiritual documentaries and films with inspiring and uplifting messages for spiritual education of children as well as adults. Produced under the banner of “JAI JAGAT FILMS”, these educational films are telecast through city and various national and international educational channels. The aim of making films is to develop spirituality in children from the very early age.
International Film Festival
Dr Jagdish Gandhi has been organising the International Children’s Film Festival for the past three years to inculcate good human values in children. CMS invites children’s films from all over the world and gives awards to the best children’s films. These educational films from all over the world are shown to children, teachers and parents of Lucknow city to spread the message of value based spiritual education.
World Unity Congregation (Satsang)
Dr Jagdish Gandhi addresses a weekly World Unity Congregation (Satsang) on unity of religions and world unity at the CMS Gomtinagar Campus on every Sunday of each month. In these congregations, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Founder-Manager of CMS and Dr Bharti Gandhi, Founder-Director of CMS, deliver talks on world unity and world peace, education and spirituality.
