 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    Any student from a recognized school, who has a good character and is below 14 years / 16 years / 18 years of age on 25nd October 2018, can participate in EXSPO – 2018. The following points are to be kept in mind –

  1. Registration will be accepted on First-Come-First-Served basis.

  2. Registration Fee is Rs. 1000/- only per participant for outstation teams. Registration amount will be deposited at the time of registration at venue.

  3. The certificate confirming the age of the participants will be certified by the Principal / Head of the school only and it will be submitted at the time of final registration.

  4. A Medical Fitness Certificate (original) is essential for all the participants and it will be submitted at the time of final registration.

  5. A player can participate only in one discipline – Track & Field / Soccer / Judo / Karate / Basketball.

  6. Participants will not be allowed without proper kit.

 
RULES & REGULATIONS
 Track & Field

• The rules of the International Association of Athletics Federation will be followed.
• The participants of the Track & Field discipline can take part in maximum three events.
• 4 X 100 M Relay Race (Track & Field) will be excluded from the above three events.
• A team can send only one participant for each event.

 
 Judo
  • The rules of the International Judo Federation (IJF) will be followed.
 
 Karate
  • The rules of (NEW) World Karate Federation will be followed.
 
 Soccer (7-A-Side)

• Day/ Night Soccer matches will be organized.
• The Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final matches will be played in flood lights.

 
Basketball

• The rules of FIBA will be followed.

 
GENERAL GUIDELINES
 

To help ensure the smooth conduct of 10th International EXSPO - 2018 participants are requested to abide by the rules & regulations listed below-

1. Registration will be accepted on First Come First Serve basis.

2. Registration Fee is Rs. 1000/- only per participant for outstation teams. Registration amount will be deposited at the time of registration at venue.

3. City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow, will be happy to provide boarding and lodging with local transport from the Railway Station / Airport to CMS Guest House(s), CMS Kanpur Road, Lucknow & back as well as from boarding place to different venues during the EXSPO period.

4. Students will wear complete school uniform for the Opening Ceremony of EXSPO 2018. Identity card provided by us will be worn at all times.

5. Round-the-clock communication center will function with STD/ISD telephone services, fax, wi-fi and internet facilities on payment basis.

6. A doctor will visit the venue daily.

7. Friends, relatives and outsiders will not be permitted to meet participants during the competition. If necessary, request for the same will have to be made to the Convener, EXSPO 2018.

8. Discipline & decorum is to be maintained at all times. The Team Manager will be personally responsible for the conduct of the team members. Any breach of discipline may lead to the disqualification of the team. The organizers may be constrained to request the team to withdraw from the venue for the above.

9. No participant will be allowed to leave the venue once the event begins. The Team Manager / Coach must be present with the participants during every event and all other activities.

10. All the team members (as per registration) must attend all the ceremonial activities.

11. No protest against the decision of the Organizing Committee will be entertained.

12. ONE CHILD CAN PARTICIPATE ONLY IN ONE DISCIPLINE.

13. Run for Peace & Unity – Marathon event is open for all participants.

14. A school will be represented only by one team.

15. Team size – Maximum 12 members comprising
       
         i. 10 players (boys + girls all categories)

        ii. 1 coach for each discipline

       iii. 1 Team Manager preferably PRINCIPAL of the school (responsible for entire team)

        iv. Foreign countries can bring more than one team.
